Legacy 4 - Tomb of Secrets App Reviews

This is a fantastic game and the best in the series so far, with the most cohesive environment, story, and puzzles. None of them are "unfair" but a few are "whaaaat", and I can never make it through one of these without hints, but the challenge is real and engaging. The developer is a one-person Valve, and deserves immense credit.

I got stuck on a puzzle but when I closed the game and reopened it, everything worked. Finally moving forward, I was able to complete the game. I found a couple of other spots where I had to close and reopen, so that was the key. I still liked #3 better, but this turned out to be a good one.

Great game! Many levels, challenging puzzles and it took a while to complete, but very well done and enjoyable. I did have to ask for help several times, but that just means the developer took time to create challenging puzzles which is what I would expect with a game such as this. I’d certainly recommend to those who enjoy puzzles that immerse you in another world as you take time solving clues on what next step to take.

Definitely a great game, very challenging. One question I have, and I can’t find any guidance on is, it says there are multiple endings. I can’t figure out how to access any of the other endings. Even when I go back and have a different conversation at the end, it seems as though you are always left with only one option. Any guidance?

All the games by David are beautiful and engaging. I can spend hours simply looking through the rooms before getting down to the business of solving the riddles. I enjoy this so much more than the games with one puzzle after the next ad nauseam.

Very creative and challenging

Excellent game just like the others in this series. Cant wait for the next!

Some of the puzzles are more straightforward, but I love that the majority of them are not! The complexity grows as you progress through the game. You have to think outside of the box and be creative. And it’s not just point and click. It’s an attractive world to interact with and I like how you have to figure out how things work on your own. If you use the hints they start out very subtle so you can get a gentle nudge in the right direction without spoiling anything. It’s also a very long game,

I love these type of 3 D movement puzzlers. This developer is particularly good at challenging you but not making it impossible to solve. Game play is very fluid. Awesome game.

The graphics are great and the story line definitely makes you think.

Like all of David’s games, this is challenging and fun.

If you have not played the previous installments, do yourself a favor and play them. I rarely purchase games but when I saw Legacy4, I just had to buy it! Kudos David!!!!!!!

Beautiful visuals, challenging puzzles, and engaging narrative. I’ve played all the games in the Legacy series and have enjoyed every one.

It was great but hard to do at times

The game is visually beautiful and easy to interact with. Puzzles are the perfect degree of difficulty- challenging and fun but not to the point of getting frustrated. I hope they have more games like this!

Thank you David for a great multi-part series so far. There is a compelling story arc over to follow as well as a combination of major and minor challenging puzzles. The additions of the map and teleportation functions are very helpful. The detailed graphics and the background sounds keep me immersed in and focused on the game. The cost per game is well worth it.

This game has a lot of great detail and interesting puzzles. I love that you have to consider the whole map and not just clear one room at a time. Very well done!

It’s really fun. What I like is it has it’s hidden items and such . But they can be figured out with time. It’s a great game. Very enjoyable.

These games are some of the best out there. Please make more! It was well worth the money.

It’s obvious that a lot of effort went into the game design and graphics. Very smooth and engaging. I found that some of the puzzles were not logical and was disappointed with the solution found in the videos. But still it was enjoyable to play.

Haven’t played it yet. Love it already. All 3 previous installments in this series were excellent. Each one better than the one before it. I am sure this one will follow suit. Here I go……

Like all the previous games, the puzzles are well thought out and intelligent. There’s fun exploration and good brain work. I anticipate every new room for the intrigue and opportunity it presents
