Great retro version of Mahjong Solitaire!

Love this so much, reminded me a lot of the version on Microsofts Entertainment Pack from way back on Windows 95/98 which I used to play a ton in my childhood. What this needs is a randomized boards mode, darkening tiles that are not useable and a bit tweaking on the shadows of each tile to make them easier to see apart and determine heights and number of tiles on stacks. Getting those things implemented would make it 10/10 for sure. Also love there's no timer, so much more relaxing this way.

Good stuff

Never played Mahjong before but this is really relaxing and enjoyable. Easy to understand. Very chill vibes. Really excited for portrait mode.

Vintage goodness!

If you grew up in the 80’s, and enjoyed playing games in TI 994A, Amiga, Atari etc etc, please give this game a try. No ads, you don’t have to worry about your personal information being safe. Graphics look familiar (remember connecting your rudimentary pc to a tv?). Call it vintage, call it retro, it’s pure fun!

Beautiful and Simple

Awesome game. Very addictive

Excellent Mahjong

Very simple. Easy to navigate. Only thing missing is portrait mode. It’s already a 5 star app in my opinion, but having a portrait mode would be a much much better experience.

Leon’s Mahjong

A Gem of a game! Love the pixel art, Love the rain sound when playing, Love it is not timed. I would happily pay for more levels like these!

Great so far, needs a little bit more

I’m having a lot of fun with this game, and I really only have two grievances: 1. It can be kind of hard to tell which pieces are blocked by other pieces due to a fairly uniform perspective, maybe some darker shadows could improve this, or some accessibility feature to add a slight shade to all blocked pieces. 2. A portrait mode would dramatically improve my user experience, I saw the developer was working on this back in December of last year, I hope they’re still working on it!

Fun, relaxing, and aesthetically pleasing

This is a really, really great matching Mahjong game. It might actually be the best I’ve ever played in terms of the overall experience. The tile art is beautiful. The user interface is so well designed. The backgrounds are beautiful. The music tracks sound really nice and don’t get annoying. This reminds me a lot of the early Shanghai games for the PC Engine, Sega Master System, and Sega Genesis. A hidden gem for sure.

Wonderful!

Exactly what I was looking for! Other mahjong solitaire apps are too easy, barely requiring an ounce of forethought; just hunt, peck, hunt, peck, ad nauseam. On top of being terribly cute, Leon’s Mahjong offers actual puzzles that you *can* mess up by just mindlessly matching. That it also tells you exactly how many occurrences of a tile type to expect allows extra planning. I am currently recovering from hand surgery with limited options for how to spend my time. This has been a real boon, esp

Awesome levels!!

Yayyyy! Love the update 😍😍

Solid mahjong game

My only criticism is this needs themes for tiles as well. We have changeable wallpaper art but no tile art

Not so good

This game is a poor choice for seniors or anybody with failing eyesight. The tiles are not unique enough to spot differences, and I’m not crazy about the landscape-only game play. I’m glad it was only 99¢, so I don’t feel too bad about the purchase. I wish it was a little more like Vita Mahjong.
