Remote app was good. Once the update came I can’t turn the tv off anymore

Unable to turn off tv from remote app

I used to turn off TV from the remote TV app but after the most recent update, it DOES NOT turn off TV. The app looks neat and can turn volume up and down and do other stuff but unable to turn off TV.
