I just love being able to borrow a book or magazine without leaving home. It’s nice to have audiobooks for the car too.

I rely on Libby to provide me with audiobooks and e-books that may not be available in my library building! It’s easy and efficient, saves gas or a 4 mile walk! What a gift!

I can’t say enough great things about this app. I have read over 200 books for FREE. Since I read so much, it used to get quite expensive. I love that I can just go in and select a new book anywhere in the world that I am. I love the recordkeeping that they do on the ones that I really liked or didn’t like. I know exactly where I am on the waiting list.I do not find anything negative at all. It is all good.

Libby has every book you could imagine.And you don’t have to even spend a penny.

Libby allows me to check out books from the Arkansas Digital Library Consortium which connect me to many more titles than our rural local library. The site is easy to navigate, and I enjoy accessing various book descriptions and reviews while perusing the selections.

This app works so well with my public library, so seamless with my library account to keep up with my books on loan & books waiting in a queue. To everyone having a hand in creating it you’ve got my heartfelt thanks and admiration. I highly recommend this app to everyone who loves reading as much as I do. Thanks

I enjoy a traditional library as well as a virtual library. This is a great app that mimics the functions of a library at your fingertips.

I was skeptical at first , but I freaking love it .

I really enjoy audio and reading books. Libby makes it easy for me to get the books online in bot formats.

Highly recommend it. You can borrow e-books and audiobooks for free. Works well with my phone device. It’s free.

I was quite content with Overdrive. I keep wondering, since Overdrive worked just as well, why was the change to Libby required? What are the advantages?

Perfect for book lovers than can’t have enough from kindle, audible and the other platforms.

Very happy with this app. It is easy to use. It has everything that are needed for pleasant reading.

Accidentally gave it five stars actually four stars. Have to wait for most books more than a week. It’s annoying waiting in fact,it feels like a year but good books and audio books. It’s a little hard to get out of comic books

Anytime I get to be the one to tell someone about Libby, I feel like a hero. It’s impossible to buy all the books I want to listen to, and Libby allows me access to a giant catalog FOR FREE. Why more people don’t shout about the magic of libraries and Libby, I don’t know.

App works as intended. With a library card, you get access to all the different billions of pieces of literature

Libby has changed the way I interact with certain books. There are books that I read and absorb a page at a time, and then there are books that I relish listening to being read by master storytellers and voice actors. Libby has given me access to thousands of such audiobooks and in so doing has changed how I think about my time behind the wheel driving.

The other apps I use that were made for the public sector are all worse-than-average and improve glacially. This one is much better than average and improves continually! Congratulations on breaking the curse!

I love the digital extension to my public library

Great app! Works great and no bugs. I’m telling everyone I can about it. Audio and reading formats! Love it.

I have used Overdrive for years and loved it. Libby has many of the same functions that I love (making it fairly easy to locate, load, and play audiobooks from your library’s system). However, though every guide says you can download books and listen to them offline, it does not work. As soon as I turn my phone onto airplane mode, Libby fails to play “downloaded” books—right when I most want to play them!

I am so grateful to the Austin Public Library for the many and varied audiobooks! Many times a hardback comes out and as soon as it is available as an audiobook the library orders it. Really a wonderful thing for choice!

I can’t find anything. There’s no “back “ button, so I can’t get back to the search I was browsing. I wish they weren’t discontinuing Overdrive. It was intuitive.

It’s a great service but I still haven’t figured out how to search for books properly in it. Not intuitive.

This app is the best way for me to access my public library from my phone. I can look up books, listen to audiobooks, place holds, and track when my books are due back

I love Libby so much. I had previously struggled to get back into reading after taking a long break from reading for fun while finishing my degree. I decided to give ebooks a try and became obsessed with Libby! Definitely reignited my love of reading! Some of my favorite features are the highlighting, bookmarking & defining functions. It is so nice to be able to connect multiple library cards and read amazing books for free. I also like that I can make the pages dark so I don’t disturb my family

Easy to use and excellent access to the books on my reading list!

It took me awhile to switch over from Overdrive but I’ve really enjoyed Libby. I think it would be amazing if there was an option to remove books you’ve previously checked out from the search results. Or if when looking at list of similar books, ones you’ve previously checked out weren’t included. When I got started on a new genre those lists were great but now it’s all stuff I’ve already read.

Perfect when you need to listen to a book when your on a car ride or on a plane!

I found once Libby merged with another book loaning organization, the overall ease of navigation has become much more difficult. For example I have a hard time finding the history of the books which I have read. That’s just one example. When I search for a title or author, I don’t always know which library it is pinging for availability. Overdrive was so much easier to use.
