But it was a good day
But it is not good enough
Very much but I have
Overall a good app highly recommended but I paid for no ads and still got ads….
I put my earbuds in while I work and listen to all kinds of fascinating dramas. The old Time radio dramas are my favorite. I love history and I feel like I’m stepping back in Time. I especially love hearing the old time ads. Those are adds that I’m actually not disgusted with. If you all can make the suspicion show complete, I’d really appreciate it. Great job. Great app.
I’ve been using the app and I think it’s great so far it’s basically just audiobooks there’s not pictures it doesn’t even show the words you just listen but I think it’s great it’s basically just audiobooks except it’s free so if we do go on a road trip or something and we want an audiobook this is better cause it’s free but I don’t like about it how you can’t change the voice but amazing 5 stars I just wish we could change the voice amazing app 10/10 recommend!
It’s great it has all the good old authors!
I’m enjoying reading Dickens and other 9th century authors. Some of the single readers are excellent. I’m not enjoying the volunteers as much because their reading is sometimes excellent and sometimes not and I find the transitions between readers more difficult to deal with than the ads. Especially when it shifts from a good reader to one not so good.
I LOVE this app, but having an option to triple speed (like Spotify does) would triple my usage of this app over others
Librovox is a great way to unwind at night and the time option is perfect when listening before bed.
They were having a bug, so I tried all the other LibriVox apps, and this is by far the best. Best selection, best user interface. The bug’s fixed now, so don’t waste your time on anything else.
God bless America, and bless developers of this app and authors of the books
If you are wanting to get a comic you’re looking for a needle in a haystack with this app look at another app. but if you were interested in Newberry award books, you have come to the right place. My mother loves this app and all these books are available for free.
I am a satisfied customer.
I love audiobooks and was so happy to find this app but the features, like sleep timer, often don’t work. And as far as I can tell it’s somewhat challenging to search for a book unless you know the title, author, and possibly the reader. I found it very difficult to search for books and most often did not find many writers who weren’t white or dead. I ended up finding a good reader and am listening to her. She is amazing but only reads Dickens. I know that there are many good books out there
I listen to LibriVox practically every night for over a year now. I absolutely appreciate all the hard work that goes into it. Thank you.
The book by Dumont is a timeless meditation articulated to perfection by Andrea Fiore
I have found Aristotle and Church Fathers and Greek Myths—-good going LibraVox!
Crash, Ad, crash again
This is cool for school
I find the app is a bit temperamental in that it doesn’t always keep playing when I go to another app or if my Maps says something
If it were possible to have a love affair with an app, this would be the one. A veritable cornucopia of great works old and new. Invaluable resource for students old-young, for nearly every great work created before 1900, as well as a respectable number of 20th century works, is available for free. Volunteers have donated endless hours to create these audiobooks, many of them 100% free (thousands of more available for sale at excellent prices). If you've not tried Librivox, maybe it's time.👍👍
This is one of my favorite applications if not my favorite. It has enabled me to gain access and enjoy many pieces of literature that I wouldn’t have been able to without this application. It has filled many daily and often mundane tasks with inspiring words.
Easy down load. Will have to look for more educational items concerning hypnosis.
I am on chapter 64 of life, when I was on chapter 10 I would listen to mysteries on my clock radio…my bed was on the top bunk so my father built me a shelf where I could place my radio so I could listen every Sunday night to mysteries…Daddy passed away on September 21 2019 (I was my daddy’s darling) I miss him so very much…listening to all the mysteries sends me back….thank you guys from the bottom of my heart…keep up the good work
Just excellent, no over emoting, no phone directory, both perfect tone, conversational accounting of observations and events. Thanks

What a wonderful thing! Numerous classic works of literature, all available for free. I listen to audio books while I work, and LibriVox has supplied me with countless hours of enjoyment and edification. Thank you to the LibriVox community.
The variety, mobility and clarity all make the experience universal. Thank you so much!
LibriVox is phenomenal, and the readers do well. This review is specifically for the app. After entering a story, the app glitches and moves all content far to one side, so you cannot go back and look at chapter names, lengths, etc. without closing and re-opening. As of recently, the app stops playing when screen is off or app is moved to background. The vocal ads are deeply grating. The app just does not function well, to the point where it seriously disrupts the books themselves.
LibriVox has been one of the coolest things out there. Free volunteer read books in the public domain! How cool is that u get to read a book fir others and also listen to thousands of books read by others. So what happened why are u now running ads on this volunteer based site? They are really annoying. Call fir donations to meet ur needs ads goes against the whole idea. Thanks LibriVox volunteers for all u do and have done. Sincerely Dave
They just sent me an email to let know they’ve fixed the bug. Back working!! 💪
This is a fine app by it glitches
Karen Savage is an amazing reader!
Latest update seems to have fixed the app crash error. Listened to an entire chapter without the app crashing
I really thank all people who spent time recording these books
Great books and readers but for some reason it just stops playing.
I’ve had this app for a while and I have enjoyed it! Lately though it keeps stopping when I’m trying to listen especially with the timer! Please help fix this problem!! Thanks!!
LIBRIVOX helps me act smart THANK YOU LIBRIVOX LIBRIVOX.COM, THANKS MARK F SMITH, Alex Foster and all the other readers THANK YOU THANK YOU 🙏 ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜❤️🔥❤️🩹❣️💕💞💔💖💘💝✝️💕✝️
This is the best app I've found for listening to classics books. I use it while relaxing in whirlpool bath. We travel on fairly long trips and I enjoy using this app for it makes the trips seem shorter--I wouldn't want to be without it.
You can listen too and even download tons of audiobooks. You can’t shut off your device or go somewhere else on your device, which is the only reason it doesn’t have five stars. Still I love this app and will be using it often
The app is great but but there is glitch I will be listening to a book and for no apparent reason it will stop playing
It is perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Really good for school assignments and super good variety of books
The ability to find download and listen to books is easy peasey
