One of my favorite games

This was one of my first text based games and it is the sole reason I crave text adventures and spend hours upon hours playing. I absolutely adored this game and everything it has to offer; I've played through the game at least 30 times and I still enjoy it every time I start a new character.

PLZ READ LUCID MUST FIX

First of all this game is awesome get it.I loved this game the first time I played it but now after coming back to it it doesn't register all my gold, stats and makes my horses name none instead of what I chose plz fix!!!!

10/10 will play again

The variety of storylines and character customization is unreal!!! I love this game and is unique yet following the classic Hero's Journey storyline. Would recommend to anyone willing to give it a try.

Couldn't put it down!

I really enjoyed this interactive fiction game! Being able to create my characters history so thoroughly was quite fun, and seeing that translated into stats and abilities was great. I was amazed at how many variable choices there were during many scenarios and it felt like there were always several interesting ways to handle each if the stats were good enough. There were one or two instances of weirdness where I failed to complete a quest properly, but was still able to receive the reward as

Incredible, a hidden gem

Life of a Wizard was a chance buy for me. Little did I know it was a very immersive CYOA with countless decisions. I was fortunate enough to almost always have at least one option for every check on my first run (thanks summoning) but I do wish there were a rewind option. I know why there isn't but I feel like it would be beneficial in case of a mis-click or if the results weren't what you wanted. Regardless of this I wholeheartedly recommend this game.

Necro thanks

Necromancy as a playable game mechanic doesn't ever get a hint of spotlight, though thanks for at least including the option in part in this choice based game.

Better than I expected

I wasn't sure if I would like this game, but I wanted to check out the genre. I was not disappointed, and I was surprised at how much I liked it. I played through once and didn't complete all my goals; I don't want to spoil anything, but the achievements at the end give he idea that it's possible to have many different endings. I am definitely going to play through again and try to be evil, to see what happens.

AWESOME

This is one game I will never regret buying. I loved playing and discovering all the different out comes for hours and hours. The only thing it needs is sequels. MORE Fantasy games this epic and I will not hesitate to download.

Great game

Fun to play through a bunch of times to get the different achievements

Worth the money

The simple writing style makes it easy to understand and the stats are relatively easy to grasp. Also incorporates some nice curve balls where you sometimes just have to use logic instead of pure stat based decisions. Overall, the high replay ability and simple style of the story boded really well with me. If you’re someone looking for extravagant writing and “big words” I would not recommend this. However, if you’re looking for simplicity and a nice story with high replay ability, then this is

Awesome!

Great game, good replay-ability. I don’t think it needs music at all, I would probably just mute it or ignore it. I mean you can literally just play your own, but no text based game Ive ever played has had music anyway. Just good story, good fantasy genre, and good fun

Boring

The writing style is really bland and disappointing.

Not Worth the Money

It’s a cool game with interesting choices, though it’s not easy to maneuver. I wish there was a rewind button, because there were several times I had misclicked. The game doesn’t last very long, and visually it’s not very pleasing. I wish I had read more into the game before buying it. It also would help if there was music. It was soundless gameplay, and the end of it was the furthest from fun. Buy this if you don’t care about wasting your money for maybe half an hour of gameplay. Don’t buy
