Can’t Get Through the Monastery
I have been playing for over 2 weeks and can’t get through the monastery scene. I’m over frustrated and have completely given up. Turn right, turn left, turn right. I feel like Arika and I’m just going in circles...
After how much fun the first game was I certainly didn’t expect this much frustration and almost zero fun.
Massive bug
So far I am enjoying the story it's playing out well and I feel like I'm having conversations with a real person but after a few hours I opened the app on my phone rather then my watch and noticed it was at the beginning so I though oh well I'll just play on my watch and when I reloaded it on my watch it restarted the entire story.... played it for a few hours while at work for about 8 hours now I have to do everything again to get back to the same point
Such a Nail-Biter!
I had finished the original Lifeline, managing to save Taylor, then bought this one. Arika is as easy to get attached to. There is so much to her story, and it is so in-depth. I loved it so much. I had to do two rewinds, before I was able to get her through. Are there any others with her?
No fast play mode
it just makes the gameplay stressful having to wait to see if she’s okay!
It's okay
A lot of choices didn't matter. Lifeline 1 was the best in the series in my opinion. Like another similar phone interactive game series, Simulacra, the first one has all the charm and the most coherent writing which then falls by the wayside for the rest of the series. But it wasn't all that bad. The time loop part was just annoying though.
Awesome games
You can never go wrong with Lifeline games.
I want another!
Hi, will you make another game continuing this storyline or another choose your own path story game with magical ideas involved? I’ve only played the original lifeline and this game. This story was way more engaging in my opinion. I’m down to help you write it if you want, but I’d like another if you’re willing to make one.
Best Text Driven Game on the App Store!
I have played this game a couple of times and this past time was the first time I actually succeeded and reached the end. It was a wild ride and an incredible story that just pulls you in like nothing else. I found myself actually worried about Arika as if I was actually magically connected with another person, and the game left me constantly thinking about it. It felt real and it felt powerful, with a great story to match and good choices for how to react, if you enjoy choice driven games, this
I bled all I can, I won’t bleed no more
All the Dave Justus penned Lifeline games are amazing, but this one is my favorite, if only because of several slightly obscured references to one of my favorite don’t-you-dare-call-them-goth bands.
Love it
Its as great as i remember however the part on apple watch where you put your name in it crashes and rewinds the story a bit 😔
Excellent!
The Lifeline series is by far my favorite text adventure series. I would definitely love to see more games soon. Maybe a continuation of Taylor or Arika’s story.

Lacks good storytelling and choices
The writer is full of low brow sarcasm. Almost everything said is some attempt at wit and humor but falls terribly short. The mass amounts of pop culture reference and sarcastic replies really drags it down. Many of the choices are a result of random exclamations that don't describe what's going on until you select between 'What's wrong' or 'Everything ok?' Take out the useless choices and there isn't much substance here. Quite an annoying read.
