Breath of fresh air in a world where everything is becoming a scam, love the features will recommend to anyone who needs help with acting lines or memorization.

I’ve been using Linelearner for a few years and love the easy and simple flow of the app. I reached out to tech support and they responded quickly and helped me figure out my issue (which was basically just me not seeing an option lol). I would suggest an upgrade: an option to replay only your lines + cue lines; and an option to play only cue lines…. Which might be there already, and again, it’s just me not seeing it lol.

Just discovered this app. It’s really actually pretty great. I’ve been using Logic Pro to record my lines in a similar fashion, but this makes the process significantly easier. The interface is a bit confusing at first, and I’m not entirely sure of what a couple of the UI elements are intended to do, but I’m very happy with the purchase. I anticipate that I will switch to using this primarily, rather than Logic.

The interface is a little clunky, but other than that, this app is amazing.

This is a game changer for learning lines. Sure - you have to add the dialogue but otherwise, this app is amazing. After uploading the dialogue using the different characters, I listen to my scenes over and over (while running, while cooking, while walking my dogs). In this way, I’m learning naturally. It’s easy to use and the one time I had a question, the developer got back to me promptly. If there is a version to upload a pdf, it would be perfect.

I switched to this from Cold Read and wow… this is so much better. More features, more stable, less expensive. Thank you LineLearner!!

An absolute necessity--I LOVE this app! Easy to use, easy to program and customize, easy to share with other cast members--totally worth the $4! I'm off-book in no time! I use it for auditions, productions, character notes, etc. and share across my devices. It's wonderful!!

I’ve used this app to learn lines on multiple plays (The Pillowman, Doubt, and more) and it’s been a life saver. It may seem tedious to record every characters lines but it’s an invaluable part of the process of learning the play. Once recorded you can run lines in the car or on a run. I can’t imagine tackling another production without using this app.

There are a lot of things to love about this app. But IMO, it's hampered by the fact that you need to create scene (or rehearsal blocks) on the fly, while you are recording the lines. There doesn't seem to be a way to easily create a new scene mid recorded script.

I’ve been using this app for years, and it just keeps getting better. Every new feature I’m like, “dang, that is a good idea!” Not just for actors, if you need to memorize anything - a speech, a presentation - you need this app. It’s nice that there’s a trial version, but trust me, just spend the money and get it, worth every penny.

The app works, but the instructions are extremely hard to understand.

Love this App!! I have been using the app for years & have been able to rehearse solo prior to an audition to even before walking on set. I’ve even used the pitch (which I love) to change the vocals so if it’s a short audition, I can just use my own read. #winning When I studied at Oxford earlier this year, I was telling all my fellow actors abt it - then lo and behold in our Masterclass, our instructor sang its praises as well. Well done app!!

I’ve been using this app for years! It’s so great and has helped me on hundreds of auditions at this point. I have one request though! DEVELOPERS- please add a feature to loop whatever scene the user is currently in. This will make the app so much more helpful. I usually want to get off book one scene at a time and end up having to run all of my scenes at once. Thanks :)

I would normally give it five stars but it downloaded really slow and I can’t get it to work I think it is great just slow.

I’ve tried restarting my phone and re-loading the app. All other functions work, just not playback. I’ve never had a problem before this. Also, the email offered for support isn’t valid.

I just downloaded this app today and I’ve already recorded an entire show that I’m in. Controls are intuitive. Features are exactly what you need for learning lines. Best four bucks I’ve spent in a long time!

I’ve been using this app for almost a year now and I’ve been having major problems with it. When it works, it works great but so much of the time lines are just not said or skipped over. This makes it very hard to learn lines. I tried to report it as a bug, but there’s no way to contact support for this app.
