10 Positive User Reviews for LiveBPM
Hi Daniel
Love this app, use it almost every session! Daniel is there any way to feed audio into the headphone port to detect beat? An option for detecting 3/4 time would also be amazing, thanks!
Landscape mode? Really?
Forcing you app to run in landscape mode is a PIA. Yes, if you operate in landscape the controls are similar to portrait mode but it’s awkward and what in this app requires the width? Stumble over this whenever I use it.
Great app to see a line of bpm over 30 min
I wish I could set the full range to a narrow range.
We want 110-120, so wish I could set the entire graph range to 100-130 or so.
Good for what it’s meant for
It does a good job of tracking tempo. However, I wish it would support split screen on the iPad so I can run it side by side with Forscore. It’s a terrible waste of space running in full screen. I will still give it 4 stars because it is successful in reading and accurate bpm when playing live.
Works every time without fail, but maybe runs fast
I’ve been using this at least once a day on average for six months. … very reliable and picks up the beat very fast. However comparing its readings to accepted readings posted by DJ’s online it might be running a couple of BPM fast. Or maybe it’s my turn table.
Purchased
Cannot get the device to pick up vibration to give tempo
Good idea but needs further development
As a musician who does a lot of transcribing, this tool saves so much time and has many practical applications. However, the app is missing some features that, in my opinion, are necessary. It measures BPM and plots it on a graph, but there is no way to export or save the results for later analysis. Lastly, the UI really needs some simple improvements, such as buttons
Great idea, but a couple major flaws
Firstly, praise is due for how well it tracks the beat. Nicely done. The issues are how it forces to a reversed landscape and there's no option to switch it. It really shouldn't require landscape at all and, at the very least, it should be able to flip counter clockwise for that forced landscape view, instead of clockwise. I've encountered no other apps that only work that way. All others follow phone orientation. The other issue is related - closing the app requires swiping from the direction o
Great
Love this app but today it is crashing and won’t launch —maybe it is my phone-anyone else having this ?
Stays on screen
App won’t close on new IOS.
