It’s okay

I give the app a 3 just because the tuner is so frustrating I finally gave up and used a real clip on guitar tuner(not from Loog) but this is a newer version of the old and app and the old app was WAY better then this (so called) new app messes up learning guitar for fun! But with the Loog backstage pass I love the “Loog Guitar Show”. But I also love the vast amount of music artists that you can learn to play parts of the song. Also I like the way they sorted the song library from beginner to a

Best guitar app for kids!

This app is the best guitar app for kids and I just said it so you have to know that

Great, but…

I got a guitar when I was five and I started playing with my Loog guitar. I loved playing it. But I stopped playing it for three years and than I found it in my basement and I’ve been obsessed with it for the past five years. but the app doesn’t really hear you sometimes it’s kind of frustrating but other than that it’s great.

The best ever

This is the best app!

Over all amazing

The only reason I did not do five stars is because it kinda says things like “become a member now!” Right when I got it but I just pressed skip but I LOVE THIS GAME GUITAR THING

Tone recognition works only on *some* devices

I haven’t bought the subscription yet, but here’s my experience so far: On my phone (iPhone 13 mini) for the free balloon pop game: it struggled to recognize when we played the notes and pretty much completely useless as a learning tool. But then I tried the app on another device (iPad mini 5th gen) and it worked much better. Well enough that I’ll probably try out the paid subscription as well. I highly recommend testing the app on your device before buying the subscription (or the logo guita

Amazing app for little kids who love music

Tuner is bugged

If you click the button for the 1st string you hear the note for the 3rd string, and if you click the button for the 3rd string you hear the note for the 1st string.

5 Negative User Reviews for Loog Guitar

It's ok

So it always logs me out and I loose all my progress and it's so laggy all the time so it ok

Regret the investment.

My children and I had been playing these songs for years. Now they are behind a paywall. Feels like classic bait and switch, while preying on parents guilt for children’s frustration wanting to continue playing their songs. I regret buying my children all of these instruments from user hostile company.

Kind of frustrating…

It a great idea but, when you play the songs it doesn’t hear your coord and you fail the song and you can’t play any other songs until you master that song, so kind of frustrating, I do like that you can tune your guitar and dress up your character but playing the songs and practice chords and it doesn’t hear you and says you got it wrong can make me mad, so it’s not forth the money and you should get something els instead.

I’m going on a trip in July so I’ll have some of those things to make it more interesting.

I have tried to update the app but the app keeps saying it is updated but it doesn’t let me update it. Please fix it so that I can update my app again.

Disorganized microtransaction mess

After buying the guitar on the promise of learning guitar through an app, I’m disappointed to report that it’s a disorganized point-and-click hodgepodge of guitar gimmicks, difficult to navigate, the “lessons” are YouTube videos and monthly service charges, and you need to sign your child (mines’s 7) up for a service. Not as advertised, avoid our mistake
