I can’t add words to my collections even after a bug fix. The word compersion can be found but not opened. I don’t know what happened. The previous version worked very well for me.

By far the best dictionary app out there. I’ve had this app since the very first day it hit the App Store and have yet to find a better dictionary app.

Great for writers!

I enjoy the app enough to have an annual subscription, but I do find it frustrating at times. Every 2-3 weeks, it forgets I have the subscription. I have to uninstall the app and redownload it for it to work again and then do it all over in a couple of weeks.

It’s pretty good, for the words it includes. Thanks for allowing me to restore purchase from previous iPad. Unfortunately, it will not allow me to sync favorite words from my other device. Not a huge word base, but I like the UI and the amount of information included.

This is the best dictionary app I've ever used! It's beautiful and clearly looks like it's been made with love and care, from the UI to the beautiful word of the day posters every day. Don't know how the developers do it!

If you have the lifetime access for people that has bought this app a long time ago, you can restore your purchase. In the app, just tap on Discover on the bottom left scroll down and then tap under Store purchase. Then you will have all the features unlocked like you had before. Love this dictionary! It's my go to.

Great app but when I get the notification of the word of the day it has been “acrophobia” for the last 2 weeks. In app and in widgets the word changes but not in the notification.

Love the design of this app, but is there any shortcut key to look up a word or bring the app windows to the front when the app running in the background? If it's not, you have to first open or click the app, then copy and paste the word into the app every time.

I just woke up to find my liked words completely wiped out.

Search for a word and you may be lucky to get a thesaurus result. It's called 'English Dictionary' but is says 'Thesaurus Included'. Even words in close relation are largely hit or miss. For example there are no results with 'Elevator' but if you search for 'Lift' you'll get results, including 'elevator'. Since this was the main reason I purchased this app I find it useless but I do appreciate no data collection and pay to own.

When you sit down with a cup of coffee or tea, and that moment is empty but not sad. You look around and want something interesting but not overwhelming to enter that space. The perfect space for “Lookup”! Try it. It surprised me. It is fun, valuable and a real contribution.

Would like a thesaurus pop up with every word I search (unless of course, a word somehow doesn’t have a synonym)!

I love looking up the meaning of words. To have this app at my fingertips is great and very helpful .

Wonderful app to also study flash cards and learn

Just purchased at a discount and started to use, to see what it can do. Very impressed. It gives the definition, Spanish word and sentence (great, as I'm learning), origin info and synonyms. I can create my own word lists. Much more to discover. 5 stars!

I love the clean design and information!

It would be awesome if when you click on the search tab, it auto selects the search bar, instead of needing to click it as well. All other dictionaries I’ve tried have this feature. Super simple, but extremely helpful. Please 🙏🏼

The layout of this app is easy for me to remember and understand each word. Specially for a truck driver like me.🧐

Good for building up your communication skills.

Why can’t you just use it offline like a dictionary?

It's an upgrade from the default dictionary, but I thought this app would be supported by the quick lookup function. Unfortunately, it's not, so you must copy and paste the word into the app every time. Making it useless for quick searches.

I wanted to like this app, but the first word I tried looking up wasn’t even in the app. This word wasn’t even an obscure word since it was a solution to the New York Times’ “Spelling Bee” game and can also be found in iOS’s built-in dictionary. A word look-up app should at least have the words in it! In addition, I tried looking up a different word and accidentally typed a space character after the word. The app wasn’t smart enough to remove the space before searching. It just said the word co

1) Half the words have their definitions and/or origins cut off when viewed on phone. What’s the point of having the app in that case? 2) Ability to manually sort words and keep them sorted? GONE. 3) Still can’t access app on desktop. Huh? 4) Support? Good luck with that!

There should be an offline version!

Developers pls fix the issue when you look up the meaning and pronunciation of any word on an Apple Watch, it crashes. Thanks.

the idea of this app is great but there are many bugs! the meaning of words is frequently cut of/truncated. when using the flash cards, a word is frequently used in its definition, or the question ends up being complete nonsense. Please fix these issues. i encounter them a lot, and if this app was fixed it would be great.
