Loopy Pro: Looper DAW Sampler App Reviews

Loopy Pro is my number 1 app for creativity. It just keeps getting better. The Loopy Pro team continue to add new capabilities. So easy to use yet so powerful. LP is my go to for song writing as well as jamming out. LP seamlessly integrates all of my music apps. Almost no learning curve (manual is great - also highly suggest you take a trip over to LP YT channel and go through JP's training videos). The best yet - I have barely scratched the surface of LP's capabilities.

I’ve been buying all Michael’s apps since AudioBus. Silly me I thought this was just a looper due to the name, boy was I wrong. It’s a looper, audio/MIDI recorder and mixer all rolled into one. It can be just a AUv3 host if that’s what you need. Brilliant!

I’m absolutely blown away with the power of this app. I had a boss RC 505. I was playing with for a really long time and started to notice it’s limitations very quickly. There’s no app, DAW, plugin, or hardware that’s anywhere near the level of Loopy Pro. This is one the best pieces of music tech ever and my only complaint is that’s it’s TOO POWERFUL

This app can replace my entire guitar pedalboard, my spark 2 amp, my Sheeran looper and my DAW. So much functionality, compatibility and versatility. I’m a hobbyist and just make music at home for fun on my iPad

A loop station, a sketch pad, a fun(!) DAW, Loopy Pro is hugely ambitious in scope but intuitive And approachable at the same time. Be sure to check the developer’s roadmap for what’s in store. Updates have been coming regularly and it keeps getting better!

I have had such a blast learning how to use Loopy Pro and configuring it in such a way that enhances both my learning in my music I can’t imagine living without this fabulous program.

Unreal how user friendly this program is. I’ve had trouble with looping but the visual element of this program keeps me on track(pardon the pun) with where I’m at in an improvisational arrangement!! It’s exactly what I needed!

This is awesome, just WOW. You might think its expensive, but its the most powerful looper out there if you already have the IPad hardware to run it.

I’m a guitarist and generally new to looping. This app is amazing and quite intuitive. I use it both with digital amp applications (ie. Tonex, Bias FX, etc) on my iPad and also effectively as an in-line looper pedal hooked up to my Fender tube amp (fyi if you’re trying to do this you’ll need an audio interface with some sort of “amp out” feature and place it between your guitar/effects pedals and the amp). This is hugely versatile and great for practice. Hope a desktop or Mac version gets releas

Obviously looping is the big deal, but the mixer and gui is ridiculously under hyped. With the ability to add au instruments and create a gui, I’ve been able to quit flying my keys around and have a modx level gui and sounds from the iPad! Better than Camelot or AUM!

I’ve really not had it long enough to learn it, but it seems intuitive at first glance. It was easy enough to do vocal harmonies. However, in watching a multitude of positive reviews and YouTube demos make it a no brainer. I’ll eventually want to use it for looping my finger drumming to jam along with. Then, once I get the hang of it, I’ll add more instruments, especially a keyboard for riffs and / or melodies. Along with my guitar, I’m going to do my best to create a one man band.
