Really like this app and it’s easy to use. However, I also need to track potassium on a daily basis. Is there a way to do that?
I like it and paid for one year of premium, but there are a couple of things that frustrate me. I get notifications about comments and things, but nothing comes up when I go to the notifications page. I have to manually find the post. I also dislike that I can’t trust the scanned or food already in the database. It shouldn’t be this way, especially because I’m paying for the service.
This app has been amazing at helping me keep track of my caloric intake and maintaining a calorie deficit. The data base is large and has almost everything you can find at a grocery store or restaurant. If you are tracking calories or macros in any way, this app is amazing!
I love the core functionality of this app, and have used it effectively many times over the years. It’s great when I feel the need to feel more deliberate about tracking my diet and exercise to help shed a few pound. I’m dinging the app couple of stars because I’m increasingly aggravated that every time I come back to app after not having used it for a while, it makes me go through an unskippable Q&A all about my goals. Just let me get to the app! These invasive questions are none of your busin
Everything is great about this app truly the only problem could be the user. YOU GOT THIS!
I’ve joined for the year and already lost 4 lb. It enables me to track Protein, fiber and calories, in fact whatever I want to concentrate on the most !
This app has changed everything for me. I am keeping up with my calories, weight loss, and exercise. And it’s reasonably priced. I couldn’t live without it to be honest.
I really like this app! But I wish I could add what I want for calories of the day!!!! But love it keeps track! I highly suggest
I should be able to lower my calorie goal without paying. What’s the point of a “goal” ??
This app helped me to lose 45lbs and KEEP it off! It creates awareness regarding what I’m eating vs my activity level. Better than a diet… this has been a positive and healthy lifestyle change for 3+ years! Thanks to Lose It!
I was trying to eat intuitively but hit a plateau. Even though I thought I was eating at my maintenance level I was wrong. This app has helped me reach my goals and it is very easy to add the food or recipes into my day and stay on track. Also the price is great.
I have never believed in counting calories until I downloaded this app I’ve been doing this for two weeks and I started at 200 pounds and now it’s two weeks later and I’m already down to 194 pounds. I do exercise every day along with this app and what’s so cool is I’ve am able to sync my Apple Watch to the app and it automatically tracks my workouts and puts in all the data for me. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend!!!
5 stars for the continuous updates and multiple themes 👾🦑⚡️
This is an amazing app with a lot to offer and I have lost a good amount of weight using it, but there are some down sides. 1. You have to pay 39.99$ a year to use it 2. There are some articles on stuff that they think will help you on your journey to lose weight, but on average if you want to read those articles you have to pay 15-20$ per articles. 3. If you are in school and can’t track it through out the day it will constantly send you notifications saying “ if you’re drinking coffee or bever
first off, every single time I open the app it says “cooking up an update-this shouldn’t happen too often”. which it literally happens every single time so that’s annoying. also the scanner isn’t always accurate and I have to edit the nutrition info manually. last thing it keeps bugging out and having errors making it so I can’t log my food. wish I didn’t purchase a whole year but oh well it’s a good basic app. will not be purchasing again though.
It’s the most simple app to use. Of course any app you begin is hard but this one it was quick to learn. I’ve lost over 11 lbs just by keeping track of what I eat and keeping at my allotted budget. Thanks Lose It!
Although I find the app to be good for holding you accountable and learning to king at portion sizes, it is frustrating that things that used to be free on the app are now charged for and it is constantly wanting you to buy the premium plan and makes it that you can’t do much on the app without buying that.
I have lost 34 pounds and keep going love this app it really helps keep me on track
I am loving the Lose it app. It is easy to log foods, weight and other measurements. I paid for the annual subscription so I can scan food. I have dropped 10# in 3 weeks since using the app. Even without the scanner, the foods are loaded id from popular grocery chains like Aldi. This app keeps you tracking various macros, protein, carbs, fat, etc. This app is easier than some of the popular apps out there.
Everyone went to the subscription model, I get it, but now basic features like barcode scanning and simple macro calculation is restricted to a subscription payment. Don’t want to see full screen ads? That’s another payment please. It is a good app and the dev should make some $$, but the fees are over the top for a food tracker. Basic features that were free a few years ago no longer are. Voting w/ my wallet.
I really love this app. It is very simple and extremely helpful.!!
I started using it again and was disappointed to learn that I have to pay to use the scan function.
If you give me a budget I can work that - this has helped me a lot
Any barcode I scan that doesn't exist and then I create the food, it does not remember next time I scan the barcode.
I have been on this app for 7 years . It has been my “go to” when I fall off the exercise and eating well wagon. The large database of foods make it easy to record calories . I love how simple this app is to use . I haven’t synced any devices to it but I’m sure that will be easy too. They give amazing deals subscriptions/upgrades if you are coming back. I left the service a couple times and reinstating my account was easy . I wholeheartedly recommend this wellness app.
This app has helped me control how many calories I eat a day. I NEVER do reviews but I had to with this one! This app helped me lose over a pound in 1 week. There’s a 7 day free trial and then it’s $40 a year. Definitely worth it. I never realized how many calories and carbs were in food I was eating until this app! Helped me change my lifestyle. Definitely recommend.
I’ve been using this app for a while and it makes logging meals so easy!
Nice App for tracking food and several other health areas. Especially like the food scan capability, most items I’ve scanned are in the App.
It freezes up almost every time I open it. I have to shut it down and reopen it.
I loves this app for it comprehensive information and easy to use format. It helped me lose many pounds. I tried to use it again recently and the assessment at the beginning is unnecessary and way too long. It feels like they are just trying to gather data and was annoying. I dont need the bells and whistles. I found an alternative.
Well thought out and easy to use. My experience is that the developer has put a lot of thought and planning into this app. After using a couple of different apps in this category, this one shines.
Stop with the pop up’s already
Lose It is a great, polished weight loss app. I love the focus on positive messages (keep going, you lost 5lbs), etc. instead of punishing you when you mess up. However the bar code scanner isn’t as good as MFP’s. The results can be very different. I scan diet soda and the app thinks it’s a candy bar. Last week, I scanned canned corn and it came up as ramen.
I have been using this app for 3+ yrs and love it. Just recently I am not able to scan the bar codes. When I click on the bar code to use my camera it leaves the app. Hopefully this can get resolved. I haven’t changed any settings on my phone.
I really like this app, paid for the premium membership have been using it and it was functioning great until this week. Now lots of crashing.
I have used several other diet tracking apps over the years and this has been the best so far. I enter my foods and the app figures my calories, macros and net carbs or any other aspect of your particular diet plan. There is a dashboard that gives you a quick look at day. They also have social groups that are very supportive. I highly recommend!
I started using Lose It and stopped using my fitness pal because it helps me focus on my protein intake and has some great features
Upon launch, the app crashes within 5 seconds.
Lose It! Provides several levels of assistance in achieving Healthy eating and weight loss. I set up goals with Lose It’s guidance then started with just logging food consumption and weight. After several months of weight loss I added exercise monitoring (used Apple Watch link). After several more months started evaluating macronutrients and adjusting the kinds of foods I ate to reach daily calories goal. After 2 1/2 years I have lost 65 lbs. and am 2 months from maintaining that goal for 1 year
I grew up being an overweight kid and always felt negative about my body. Used this app periodically and weight fluctuated. I really got into my fitness and nutrition a bit ago and started going on a cut and this app can been a massive help just showing my macros and calories. Of course exercise most definitely helps as well. Never felt better about my body.
Loss it is a wonderful App , it’s easy and I do make myself accountable. Iv lost 13 lbs and have 5 to 10 to go . Thanks
The app has had the scanning feature for years, and now it is only available to subscribed users. Seems like a step backwards, I would urge them to reconsider this choice and it removes a longstanding feature that permits ease of use for existing users.
Yay. The latest update includes even MORE ads. And I can no longer scan the barcodes for entering food. This was functionality that used to be included. Now you have to sign up for the premium membership in order to do another thing that used to be free. Ugh.
Most free features are now hidden behind a paywall. Barcode scanning used to be free, now you have to pay for the full version. It’s pretty ridiculous.
The only reason I’m giving it is three, is because I’m very new to the app and have some questions. When I enter a recipe, the recipe nutritional value is definitely not the same as what the app is showing. so how do I know which is correct, and if it’s the recipe, how do I correct the app? It also does not get it correct if I scan the barcode on an item
