13 Positive User Reviews for Louis Vuitton City Guide
Text left in French and typos
The guides are essential but good. However there is a very weak point: for $8.99 you cannot slack leaving text in French and not running a spellcheck in the content.
In the Rome guide, for example, the Colosseum (Colosseo) is left in French (Colisee) and many other titles. The Barcaccia (means ugly boat in Italian) is misspelled as “Barbaccia” (ugly beard). Your guides should be built with the same standards as your expensive bags.
My favorite travel guide
I didn’t really think I’d find this useful—i figured I’m not generally the LV target market—but many of my favorite experiences in Seoul last year came from recommendations in the app.
Many guides are overwhelming; this one gives a nicely curated list, and a nice range. I found suggestions when I was feeling fancy; or when I wanted something peaceful.
I’m already excited about several of the items in the Tokyo guide, and I’ll be revisiting some of the ones I missed in Seoul.
My only slight
Love this app.
Was sending to a friend and I was surprised to see so many bad reviews. I’ve used it all over the world and it is a wealth of knowledge. Highly recommend studying the guide before going to new cities.
Paris Guide
I have been using the Paris guide and it has lots of great suggestions. I especially liked the walk related to photography.
Two comments for future updates:
1. In the walks, include the metro station location and name on the maps
2. The photography walking tour include galleries that are either closed on Monday or Monday and Tuesday. Please incorporate that in the walk description that probably the best time to do this walk is between Wednesday to Friday
Great content but could be better for the $9.99 price point
I got the Istanbul guide and really like the content on the app but one thing that I really wish is that it had more images or at least integration to go google maps. When looking at the restaurant recommendation it is really difficult to know details such as ambiance, type of food, hours of operation or if a reservation is needed without seeing more details and I find myself flipping back and forth between the app and google maps. The same feedback applies to all other aspects of the guide.
Eclectic choices with nice range of price points
Title says it all. Each city is its own purchase within the app.. the biggest downside is each update is the same price as a new city .
Efficient and to the point!
This app is the best travel app thus far.
Finally
Yes, finally an entertaining guide ! I got bored of all the paper guides I bought over the past years but this one définitivement stands out. And it is beautiful.
Plus you get the Paris for free: what else could I ask for ?
Crashes on Walking Tours
Beautifully done app, however it keeps crashing when tapping on any tour in the Walking Tours section. True for NYC and France guides.
Nice guide
Found the paper version first, then the app. Since an iOS update, I simply get a blank screen when opening the city guide page. Very disappointed.

Rip off
Some good ideas but I bought the Prague guide and the was immediately given the option to purchase the latest 2022 guide. I bought it in 2022. Annoying.
Almost completely useless
This is probably the most useless app I’ve ever purchased. Every information on it can be found elsewhere and it’s really little information for $8.
Paris Guide is not free
The update does not give you the Paris update free it is $9.99.
