Magic Earth Navigation & Maps App Reviews

I got this because I was told I have the option to record my drive and that this was a more privacy-based app. When you download it tells you that you don’t have to have an account, but when you try to record, the app tells you that you have you have an account. The android version is apparently free and you don’t have to have an account. Sad days.

This is a solid alternative to the big navigation apps even though it’s a less mature product. The traffic data seems on par with Google and Apple. Needs a lot of improvement with the search function but it’s exciting that an app based on an open source map can get me from A to B without sacrificing a lot of convenience. I’m going to keep supporting.

Was free to download maps then drive/walk using GPS. Now you’ll (over)pay annually to do the same. Good privacy policy.

I have high hopes for this app, but it is not a true replacement for Apple or Google Maps yet. Two key items are missing, the ability to search along a route and the ability to display search results in a map view instead of a list. Really hoping to see these features added in future releases.

After tried with multiple map apps this is best for those who are want to travel.

title says it all, really. if your goal is to find a navigation app that isn’t google maps or owned by google (aka waze) and won’t sell your data, this is the app for you.

I love this app but unfortunately it does not support Persian language. Persian is one of the beautiful and ancient languages of the world that is spoken by more than 110 million people in Western and Central Asia. Please add this language to your app so I can use it better. Thank you.

So far so good. However, this app lacks the ability to search using voice when using CarPlay, which makes it very difficult to navigate to a location while driving. Basically have to pull over.

Everything is working great so far, can change from automatic to 2d or 3d maps in navigation in settings, thank you for keeping 3d, other reviewer possibly did not know what they talking about it seems as 3d still exists :).

This was an amazing application. He worked great. I loved everything super easily. Nice intuitive filled with features and the driving AI stuff but one day they added a subscription on top of it and it used to be free completely with no ads but now they slapped a subscription on it and I hate it now the one free map app that I found that was actually good got a paywall.

I liked this app and was meaning to sign up for their $1 a year plan. But today for Black Friday weekend they've raised the price to $20. I wanted to support you for offline maps, but I can't at this price. Would have been nice to give people a heads up before this change.
