MapAPic Location Scout App Reviews

For location scouting, panoramic image support would be greatly appreciated. As an animator it would be nice to also be able to access the iPhones other image functions especially the filters. As it stands the camera only takes basic pictures. It would also be nice if the image player also supported the ability to view panoramic images in pov mode or through simulated viewfinder.

App is quite simple and usefull to remember places. Would recommend streamlining process of adding new places

I've only created a few locations so far, but this is going to be useful for me (I'm an amateur photographer). Saves hassle vs trying to organize my phone snapshots in Photos, etc. Simple to use.

This app helped me spot sceneries for my student class trips.. It is everything I've ever wanted to organize and keep track of my photo locations.

I really only use this app for sunrise and sunset times for my photography. I would like the option to toggle between military and 12 hr times.

I'm using it to help keep track of my field recordings. Looking forward to a future release that will include audio notes. Great job so far though.

Simple and easy to use. I've saved lots of time archiving locations since switching to this app. Would be great to see the ability to jump straight in to the Google maps app when touching the map.

I really like this app. The only thing missing is the ability to enter a location manually. I often find places to photographer from web searches and really need to be able to input a new location by entering an address.

This app has become an incredibly critical part of my pre-production process. I absolutely love it. Makes an independent filmmaker's process go by much more smoothly!

Great app! I will use for scouting locations but also to capture info I need for publications as I shoot. The inclusion of the sun schedule is genius! Ps. Tech support is speedy and friendly.

Dropbox backup, a easy to use and info centered interface. Tags. Notes for each location. I'm a photographer who travels and scouts A LOT. Love this app and would highly recommend to any shooter.

I love this app. However the email feature kills and close the app. I think this is the best feature since i can send the location map and a pic the my clients. Please get this fixed as it may not be compatible with this latest ios version.

Awesome app!! Sometimes I don't have a chance to open the App and set up a new location while at the location. If you take a pic and choose to setup the location later it uses the Exif info to mark the Lat Long on the map.

Offline location logging with notes and photos. I use this for restaurants and cool bars as I travel. This app does it perfect and is a great app with solid developer feedback!

I have some notes and a few photos, crashes every time I try to export a PDF to share with the team. Unfortunately useless if I cant share the information.

Can’t transfer from another phone. Can’t restore from Dropbox because it hangs Tried reporting problem from inside app but it wouldn’t launch either... Other than that, it’s a good app
