Easy to view UI, no complicated options, integrated with Apple Maps and Game Center, I love it! Even more than the original FOW because it enables workouts imports!

This is the best map app for sure, other ones are bulky and lack features. Mapcred is clean and has great game center integration. The only problem I have is importing workouts takes forever. I am currently doing it 5 workouts at a time, out of 275 workouts, because it doesn’t crash that way.

I love that it doesn’t just show you where you’ve been, but how often (the heat map feature), making it more fun to go places repeatedly. App seems to be more stable and modern than any of the others I’ve tried. Speaking of which, I have tried a couple of the others (Strut and Fog of World) and hated that Strut locked me in so I couldn’t export my data, and Fog of World didn’t have leaderboards or any social features and was super expensive. MapCred addresses the shortcomings of both of those

I really enjoyed seeing the heat maps of where I’ve been. And it’s fun to compete to be the king of a particular location (although I’m only the king of my living room for the time being) Overall, it’s a great app that does exactly what it promises. You compete to see the world.

A much smarter and more interactive way to approach map exploration! Great concept and execution.

So happy to see a new take on a FoW style game, especially with a heat map and more frequent updates!

This is hands down the best map app I’ve used. It tracks your progress great and is much cheaper than the main competitor. It also allows you to zoom in and out, which the competitor does not allow.
