MAPS.ME: Offline Maps, GPS Nav App Reviews

I just want to say that Maps.me is the best app ever ever. It saved us from being lost in a foreign country and out of dicey situations. Would heavily recommend it. Still trying to figure out how it actually works cause it’s amazing.

This version is not working good, it crashed for me, I have last version of IOS.

I have used Maps.me to find my way without cellular or Wi-Fi in at least 5 countries. I love this app!

We travel a lot to other countries and spend days walking in their cities and now are never lost. I've used it in Canada, Turkey, Denmark, Norway, and Mexico. I wish I'd had it in Rome (we were always lost until we happened on a building or fountain we could find on a paper map).

I used to love adding my own places to maps.me, it was a simple task and I loved being able to mark different places I’d visited. But the new version of this app makes this impossible. I can view all my old places, but cannot add new ones. And their support is nonexistent, and all support articles are from versions years old. Time to find a new mapping app.

Great program when it works or when it is clear on how to use it. Downloading map updates may work, may not. Lots of features that are too difficult to access or intuitively learn. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Working gps offline without internet with downloaded map very useful to inform your exact position in the map when you get lost walking in the city.

Works amazing, routes, places, and everything offline. Perfect for traveling abroad or for countries without good internet connection like Cuba.

It works offline, it shows all the mountain trails, it doesn’t drain my battery, it can pick up where Google Maps leurs off, it is perfectly user friendly

I travel to many counties and I love having a gps without wifi/service!! Just download the map when you have wifi, and you can use it while your on the road without service

My hiking garmin broke when I was abroad. This app is so great, I may not buy a new garmin.
