Could be better!
Defenatly not worth the 0.99. I like the fact that it has history on the styles but you could defenatly add more. The weapons are also nice but you could add more and maybe include a picture. Needs an update!
Very cool application!
Lots of cool martial arts with facts about them. Good 99 cent application.
Martial arts knowledge is over abundant
I appreciate the fact that this developer included some styles that were out of the ordinary. When I first read this app I wanted to join Karate but now I want to join Kung Fu!!! Keep 'em coming
Nice Reference
Nicely done. Its a great reference for lots of martial arts. I like the look and feel, and next up maybe add individual move details and sound effects too!
Martial Art References
It is only a mere refernce guide to martial arts.
Not that great, but has some interesting facts.
Great Reference
Nice Martial Arts database. When is the next update?
Nice
To be honest, the app is very useful. It gives basic information on the different martial arts, and is relativly easy to follow. However, I believe that some more detail could be added besides mere paragraphs. Other than that, this is a great app that I recommend to other martial arts fans.
Missing some basics
Where is Japanese Jujistu ?
Fairly decent
It has a good core of information. One feature I would recommend is a submission where you could suggest styles for inclusion. A bit more info would be nice, but more styles would be great too...I practice Kyukido and I have yet to see it on the list even though it was founded in 1967.
Decent
It's worth getting for someone interested in how other arts function but it's lacking in names where's kudos and naginata?
Karate rules
Nice lookup of styles

Martial Arts receives a yellow belt!!
The breadth of styles referenced was reasonable for an initial release. The depth of info on each style was inconsistent. Some actually named the founder, and style characteristics, however, this practice was inconsistent.
It would be nice to see the following data for each style in future releases:
Name of founder(s)
Country of origin
pronuciation of unusal styles
translation of style names
characteristics of the the style
Weapons
Well known/Famous practictioners
There are probably other it
Not much here
Content is pretty limited and I found it to be incorrect in some cases. I like the idea of a reference like this but frankly wikipedia is more informative than this.
