45 Positive User Reviews for Marvis Pro
This was a 5 star app on the initial purchase and remains a 5 star app with every update. Fantastic work by a developer who is engaged with the users. This is an example of how all apps should be developed.
Great app, much better than Apple's. Would like to show composer for each track.
Exactly what I needed! Perfect customization with seamless integration! 10/10
The app is really great, the one thing it's currently missing is the ability to sync your settings/config across your devices with iCloud. This is particularly frustrating for a user with multiple devices, iPhone, iPad, Mac etc. Please could this be reviewed for future inclusion in the product?
I basically just use this app for the last.fm integration from Apple Music. It works nearly flawlessly in this regard so I’m happy.
Marvis Pro is so configurable that it blows other music apps away. I will rediscover music that I forgot we owned.
This makes my Apple Music experience much improved! However, in the app on the Home Screen, the top left three lines to click to get into the main menu is cut off and can barely just see the edges of those lines to click to get into…. Using iPhone Pro 13 iOS 16.3 - I try to rely on the swipe gesture but even that seems like it’s detection might be cut off or something as I have to do the tiniest swipe from the exact edge
App is great but please add playback speed like other players have. Edit: Proactive developer responded to my review. Wish I was using this app years ago. Stop thinking just buy. Review changed from 4>5
this is honestly just a praise for this app. it’s everything i’ve wanted and been looking for. I can organize my playlists on a grid and in multiple rows. how’s the developer even going to update an already perfect app, I don’t know but i’m so excited to find out. why are you even reading this, it has 5 stars and it’s literally free. 🫶🏼
This has made music streaming such an enjoyable experience again. The audio quality of Apple Music mixed with the customizable interface really lets you make it exactly how you want
What do all music apps want to be when they grow up? The smartest person in the rooms. Just download it.
This is the best, Apple Music companion app I’ve ever used, and I’ve tried pretty much all of them. I consider myself a super user, and I can pretty much customize just about every single thing about the app that I want to. And it doesn’t have any of the things that I consider annoying from Apple Music like advertising and pushing artists that I don’t want to listen to. It’s really fun to fit it to my exact needs and wants and it has unquestionably helped me enjoy music more.
One of the absolute best on the App Store. Phenomenal features, customization, and developer support.
If you’ve been using the stock Music app for long enough, eventually you run into things you wished it did better. Widgets behaviors you wished you could tweak, UI layout doesn’t fit your specific needs, things you have no interest in but can’t remove, elements and metadata you’d rather see, etc. This music player lets you fairly easily handcraft a music player that fits your precise needs in terms of features and aesthetics, and I have yet to feel any wonkiness or clunkiness despite all the cus
This App is constantly opened / in use on my phone along with the Music App. Sometimes it doesn’t auto scrobble but that’s once in a while other than that it’s great!
The functionality in this app is beyond any other app. The customization available for the ‘Now Playing’ screen allows me to display metadata that is not available in other apps. As a result, I use Marvis everyday without problems.
Will this ever get music video support?
This is everything you ever wished Apple Music offered and then some.
I've been wanting for a long time to be able to "pin" favorite albums for easy access and Marvis lets me do this by creating a home section of albums I've "Loved" in Apple Music. Ingenious!! Just wish I figured it out sooner.
could not be happier with my purchase, i can not overstate what a game changer if is
Love this app, but for the past few days it keeps resetting to default after I turn my phone back on. It’s still useable just all the formatting is undone.
Brilliant app with some of the best support I’ve seen. From Reddit to discord to Twitter, the developer cares about this app and making it for the people that use it. Couldn’t recommend enough
Hands down best add on to Apple Music and addresses all the things Apple lacks as far as a player.
Hands down Best app in the App Store, absolute best music app there is. Nothing negative I can think of.
This really is one of the best apps in either ecosystem. I feel so much better knowing that I can use this app again and have full enjoyment of how I listen to music.
I love how customizable and responsive this app is compared to the original Music app. The original Apple Music app seems like it tries to load everything from the web and is slow. This is speedy and I can make it work just how it want. I even “pin” playlists by making a section in home, then making the rules to include playlists with the titles I want.
This app is way better than Apple’s music app. Favorite feature is landscape music. My one request would be to add CarPlay support. The experience is not good in CarPlay.
I have been using this app for about 3 years and let me tell you this app is a life changer. Imagine all the things that you can’t do in the native app or wished you could do. I’m pretty sure this app will let you do just that. This app is basically 100% customizable and also has lots of info you can access and sort by. This app has improved greatly between the first time I used it. The updates just keep making the app better and better. I appreciate the dedication the developer puts towards thi
For anyone who takes pride in their music library, whether it’s local MP3s or streamed through Apple Music, this app is a treat. So many different customizable options for how it displays your library, how it displays individual playlists (you can make album playlists!), how it displays your home screen….seriously there’s like an endless amount of customization available. Highly recommended to music lovers
I get that it looks nice to see either the artists or album artwork when looking through your library but if you have a large library this makes for very slow scrolling. I can see six artists per screen whereas in Apple Music I can see 12. I don’t need large images for scrolling through the Artists section. Either small images like AM has or no image would be fine and the latter would likely allow more to be visible.
I was looking for an app that had good Apple Music integration as I’m just not one to like using the stock Apple apps… First impressions are a knockout. Glanced the settings, put on a tune, and came to tell you that this is the only Apple Music app you will ever need.
After years in the wilderness with unorganized music I can finally group and sort the way I do I do my record collection, by artist. It’s astonishing that Apple hasn’t realized that that’s how people sort albums, not by the album title!
Marvis is for sure my favorite app on my phone. Not only is it sleek and customizable, but the reddit community is always active and the developer is more than happy to comment on every post and will take users’ ideas into account for updates. Thank you Aditya!
Love this with WidgetPod - keeping screen active when playing makes CarPlay expand to an extra screen. Customizations are smart and functional. Well-done and an app I use daily.
It’s great for an iTunes music library and any Apple Music users, makes many improvements on the stock app.
This is absolutely, hands-down the app that Apple should have made. I get that Apple does not like giving the user a ton of Customizing options, however; they really should purchases app and make it the stock app.
Customizable and user-friendly, Marvis is an excellent upgrade to the stock Music app.
I’m just upset I’m just now finding it
Hey I have a suggestion. If you could please integrate the Widget pod full music player into Marvis that would be stellar!
would love this ui for my plex library
I never liked the stock Apple music app. I found it too cluttered and hard to navigate. Marvis has everything I want in a music player. Love the widget, too. There only thing I'm missing is an in-App EQ. That'd be awesome.
The best music app on the planet !!!
would benefit from a better music discovery, perhaps a different page selector to choose from as opposed to the swipe and a more accurate star rating feature
Everything I’ve been wanting in a Apple Music replacement
Great music app. The best replacement for Music on an iOS device. It's so good, in fact, it's almost unforgivable that there is no CarPlay support.
