McClockface – Flip Clock App Reviews

I love the app and the widgets. It would be great if I could remove the date completely, or at least the annual progress percentage.

When you have the time tiles in a stack on iOS 17 and select dark mode the background is shows as blurry or sometimes white and blurry. This is when you have added it to a widget stack. Did not happen with prior iOS updates.

I don’t see why everyone is sending such harsh reviews; it works great for me!

Just what I needed for my iPad

This is one of the best clock apps in the store. Certainly the best for widgets. The only reason that it gets four stars is because the extensive widget options aren’t also available for the in-app nightstand/desk clock. As far as I can tell, just the flip clock is available in-app. Some more requests: Please make the date/time format customizable in app and/or by widget rather than fixed to the system setting. I’d really like to mix and match and make custom clocks that start with Monday inst

It seems to stop when my device screen locks. When I unlock, it doesn’t update. I have to tap on the widget.

Enjoyable simple clock. Needs ability to lighten/darken by swiping up and down.

Really like this app! Had fun trying out the different widgets. Took a few minutes to get used to as I’m new to iPhone. I find it much better than the stock Clock app.

I like this app, particularly the aesthetic. However the version history implies that the widgets are more customizable than they are. Only some widgets can change colors. It would also be nice to have more date + time or pure date options.

Nothing extra. It’s a clock you can customize. Perfect. Tested this app while in beta and was really hoping it would keep its simplicity. Was not disappointed. When I bought a new phone, beta testing expired. Didn’t care. Bought it anyway.

I love this beautifully designed gem! So much fun to have around. And, yes, it’s a wonderful clock to boot. It occupies a permanent place on my home screen.

Customizable in fun, surprising ways, and it’s a clock. It’s simple. I’m using it on an old device as a desk clock and I couldn’t be happier.

My favorite theme is the Back yo the Future theme

After a couple of bucks and all this time I would have expected more faces and configurable features.

Time on the widget does not display/ update properly, making it useless as a clock face.
