MDCalc app is the single most used medical app I use in my daily practice. Absolutely great tool. A must have for every physician or mes student.

Used this in medical school and through residency. Clinical practice for the last 4 years and I still use it. Unless an AI version comes out this is a must have.

I find this app very useful and I tell my students to download it. I teach a simulation lab for year one and year two medical students.

If the entries are organized like Na creat albumin bill INR rather than them all over would help .

The app is awesome, and a great way to add to my clinical decision-making and justifications. Just for ease of access, though, I would love to have my favorites list as the default list.

Great resource, but user experience could be improved to reduce unnecessary taps. For example, add support for gestures and/or keyboard button to advance to next/previous field. Also, needs setting to make Favorites the default view rather than always starting with Popular.

Why do I have to create an account with a password to use your calculator. I already have enough accounts. Who made this decision?

I am currently in clinicals for my FNP and my preceptor uses this app frequently but I can’t sign up because it requires you input your school and my University isn’t listed. Is there a work around for this? I would love to use this app as it is quite useful in the day to day workings as a FNP and has been so helpful but I can’t use it because of that one requirement.

The July 2023 update is terrible. Font change in the menu provides much less definition as compared to the original app, which was much easier on the eyes. Probably more annoying is that opening the app defaults to the “Popular” calculators… as opposed to the previous edition where I could opt to open the app to my favorites, which is critically important in an emergency, instead of having to navigate away from the default opening to what really matters.

I loved this app until it quit working over the weekend during my shift:( I see there was an update which must not be compatible with my iPhone? Help is appreciated.

Crashes 90% of the time now. Pretty much unusable.

Always loved this app, had lots of “favorite” pages saved. After new update I had to create an account (annoying but fine, given the free service they provide) but I lost all the favorites I saved! Should have found a way to retain this with the update!
