Meridian 157: Chapter 3 App Reviews

I rarely pay for games but these were worth it. If you like escape room style puzzles, this hits the mark!

Playing the whole series from the prequel to chapter 3 is a must. At the end of chapter 3 you will understand the title of my review. This is beyond Myst, way beyond. This game has meaning. Being former career military, I really do get it. Yes this epic is full of some mind bending puzzles, fantastic graphics and erie sound effects, but it also makes you think.

One of the best in this genre.

i cannot express in words how SHOCKED i was to discover that this game was entirely designed and programmed by only two people… i expected a massive team for something of this caliber! you guys are truly a force of nature, thank you so much for this wonderful game!! i am so excited to see what comes of the aurora hills series :D

I enjoyed solving all of the puzzles. They were challenging at just the right level. Also, the story line drew me in. This is one of the best games I played - I really had fun playing it!

I really enjoyed all three chapters. The game felt polished and held my attention. Lots of good puzzles.

I appreciate the supportive clues and the array of hallways and details. This was fun! I’ve played all three plus Aurora Hills. I’ll be playing the Prologue next! Keep ‘em coming guys! I will say that I relied on the clues a lot. I don’t know if that’s just me or if the puzzles were particularly difficult. For example, the red and blue (not wires) but the chart. That was abstract logic. However, some of the puzzles were just the right amount of challenge for me.

The Meridian 157 adventure series is an excellent and challenging game that keeps you “turning the page”, like a good novel. The puzzles are challenging enough, with helps when needed or desired. The graphics between the Prologue and Chapters 1, 2, & 3 were consistently improving with each new game. I look forward to any future games in the pipeline.

Great value for money! So cool

I was an adventure games addict for a while then paused while in grad school. Picked this one up after graduation and I’m so glad I waited. I played through the whole series in one go and I definitely would have failed some tests if I was still in school. Story was great, graphics were smooth and improvement was noticeable from prologue to Ch3 as was the difficulty. Congrats on a great game! I look forward to more!

This game changes your reality to another place and time. It gives you the sense of being in a 3-D game, and the graphics are so detailed. Played this game for hours and I was sad to see it end. Plus, it no kids game, but for the intellectual, who loves a challenge. I have played all of their games and to me this one is the best.

Keeps you on your feet toes. A lot of searching and figuring out puzzles. I’m just sorry it ended. I hope it here will be more

Started with Chapter 1 and beat all 3 in only 2 days bc I played non-stop! Literally THE BEST escape game I’ve ever played! And I’ve played almost all them! Amazing graphics, audio and ZERO glitches, crashing or bugs and NO ADS!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Can’t wait to see what you guys come out with next! Hopefully it’s soon!!!! :)

The clues should be easier to figure out. The Chapter 3 shutdown protocol clue could have use an old adage, “When in the green stay in between”.

I just finished the series. Well worth the time and money! It wasn’t always obvious what needed to be done but I usually figured it out. Some puzzles of all degrees of difficulty. It could be frustrating, but that’s kinda the point, right. I’ll give it some time and play them all again!

What a great game! The puzzles are multilayered, clever and challenging. The atmosphere is creepy. Best of all, the story arc holds together, and i found the ending very powerful. In most puzzle games of this sort, even the Room series (much as i love ‘em), the story is ancillary and forgettable. this one does the best I’ve seen at having the story come together.

Absolutely worth buying; definitely going to play the series multiple times (especially when it’s a cozy, rainy day). Game quality increased over the years, plus I also love the creepy elements that give me wide-eyes and goosebumps…! Can’t wait for the next project! P.S. that puzzle to get the fire extinguisher might be the most anti-safety protocol ever!!! 🤣

I’ve played through all three chapters now, and I can easily say that this is hands down the best escape room app I’ve ever played. The graphics and music are beautiful, the storyline is really interesting, and the puzzles are the perfect balance between challenging and intuitive. Love that you can play with or without hints. Worth every penny and more, and I hope the developer comes out with more. Wonderful game!!!

I'm really sad to have finished all the games. They were compelling and beautifully done. This last chapter was especially fine. In the end game I went from literally laughing out loud at the comment that appears while trying to get the fire extinguisher, to being genuinely moved by the ending. It was surprisingly poignant and lovely. A huge thank you to the developer for all the work and thought that clearly went into this.

I had so much fun playing this series of games. The puzzles are fun and challenging but never impossible or frustrating. The graphics are amazing. Kudos to the developers!!

This game was well put together and well worth buying. The puzzles made the challenge interesting. I like games that you pay up front and your not nickel and dimed throughout the game. I would highly recommend buying this game.

Fun story line. I have played a lot of these types of games and for me all the Meridian 157 chapters and prologue are very entertaining.

Wonderful graphics with challenging but doable puzzles. I only gave it four stars since there is no way to restore the game. I had to get a new IPad when I was minutes from the end and had to restart it from the beginning. Otherwise. I would have given it 5 stars

We have been playing your game for the last several days from The Prologue to the end. We can tell that a fair amount of time and research went into planning the story and graphics and have been suitably impressed by your efforts. We are looking forward to any games you develop in the future.

This has been one the best puzzle games I’ve played! For all of the small details that went into this game as well as the length, chapters and the best story line! I hope to see more like this one!

A story, a mystery, a journey with excellent graphics, puzzles to solve, clues to locate and then assemble to find the next path. Some parts hard enough to frustrate. Worth the investment if time to play.

Story line was intriguing and kept my interest throughout the game. Wonderful graphics and effects. Puzzles were challenging and fun. Well done, NovaSoft! I’m looking forward to your next games.

This series is really top notch. There are so many garbage escape games out there, but this series is quality through and through. Great level of difficulty without being to obscure, and the hint feature is a nice touch.

This game was very fun. Kept you wanting more. Played all 4 games in a week. Lol. Couldn’t put it down. Got a bunch of guys at work playing it and it turned into a competition to see who could beat it first. Please make more!!!
