12 Positive User Reviews for Met Office Weather Forecast

Accurate weather info!

As a traveler I have very much appreciated having this app. When it has said rain will start at 1:00, the rain has come within 5 minutes of that. Now, that’s handy! It’s fairly easy to use as well.

This is Our Go-To Source in Our Farming Community

The farmers in this area of Co. Fermanagh go to this source for their forecasts, and this app makes it easy to get detailed weather reports with videos and graphics. Very reliable and worth a try.

Met Office accurate forecast

We always use Met Office because we live in the Inner Hebrides and we have found their forecast accurate especially with a gale threat and very easy to read.

Good in many ways

When I downloaded this app I had no idea it was from the UK. They don’t give you the option to have the hourly forecast times of day in the standard 12 hour am/pm format, they only use 24 hour military time, that’s common in Europe. They also don’t show what the current temperature is.

Easy to use. Shame about the maps

Forecasts easy to use but the maps are clunky

Search function broken

Ever since last week’s app update, the search location has ceased to function. Great app otherwise.

Accuracy is OK, widget is unusable

As is something about linking devices, device identification and maybe 100+ cookies that seemed to be tracking more than strictly functional. You can “reject all,” which surprisingly seems to apply to the poorly named “legitimate interests” cookies as well, so that's actually good. Jury's still out on whether this applies to new ad providers when added, or if they default to opted-in (as they do when you manually manage

Spot on!

😀🌈very reliable and useful!😀🌺

Way more accurate than Apple weather app

Way more accurate than Apple weather app. Wish the UI was as nice though

Met Office

Met Office is really good as it shows on the map how severe the rain is and where it all is! I’m incredibly impressed! 😀😀

Accurate but not detailed enough

The timing seems to be pretty accurate - I usually cross check with 1-2 other weather apps. But as someone who lives in a rainy area (and being an app that’s from a rainy area), I’m very surprised it doesn’t give any rainfall amount data. 2cm of rain is vastly different from 8cm of rain. Other apps give this
