42 Positive User Reviews for Microsoft OneNote
OneNote is so essential to my professional and even my personal life. It helps me stay organized and keep important info a good reach.
Fix the synchronization between iPad and windows
Microrosoft no longer supports paid products. Good luck.
The only thing that I have noticed is that this app needs symbols when typing equations, or just typing in general. Please add upper level mathematic and chemical symbols for ease of use. Other than that, it is a great way to take notes.
Great app overall, but the search bar feature is terrible. As a medical student having to study hundreds and thousands of slides that I inserted into one note, this app doesn’t make it easy to search for a phrase or word and have all of the locations come up easily within my notebooks. Fix this please.
Love this app
Great but it really needs undo/redo hand gesture shortcuts. I’d love to see other hand gesture shortcuts incorporated as well, like a clear all, cut and paste gestures, etc. Right now I prefer Procreate for note taking but I hate the inability to store and organize notes in the cloud. I use Microsoft for my file storage and enjoy many of their apps. While I’m not saying that OneNote should turn into some art program like Procreate, I hope OneNote will be improved with some of the helpful, effect
I have used OneNote for years and loved it! But now all of a sudden it won’t open on my iPad or iPhone. I have a laptop that I can still get to it from thank goodness but it’s not convenient. I don’t use my laptop that often.
I started using this for my college notes as I take my classes completely online, the issue that I have and I find retry big is that whenever I logged in on whatever device I have a hard time finding my notebooks. Which makes it a struggled for me to sit down to study when I can’t access my notes. I have to move my notes to real notebooks and different application (that I had to pay out of pocket to use the features of more than one notebook) and now my notes are all over the place.
Doesn’t keep me signed in. Constantly not logged in. Doesn’t work from my iPhone and Ipad bc it doesn’t sync
Please consider adding video tutorials for beginners who are very slow and new by computing technologies, it’s a good product that only needs very basic training for the uninitiated Thank you
Easy to use and haven’t experienced any glitches as of 3/24/2024
Very difficult to use
I love this app a lot, i can hand write or type my notes, love that diversity. I use this app mainly for math notes, which is where my problem comes in. I cant type equations with a special math keyboard within the app. Idk if its just me being stupid, or if thats actually not a feature included. Oh well 🤷♀️
First of all, this app is SO good. I used it throughout my high school and still use it in college. The drawing option is THE BEST and I highly recommend this app to anyone, a teacher, a student, a parent, a business woman/man. But yeah, just wanted to highly recommend this to other people.. ❤️
I love One Note a lot and I depend on it when I study. It’s an amazing app but lately, I have glitching issues where random lines would appear when I take notes. This is when I use an Apple Pencil Gen 2. Before, I didn’t have this problem, but now I do and it’s super annoying. Is there a situation to fix this cause it’s interfering with my work.
Helpful way to stay in focus on task.
I use one note on my iPad for school notes but there’s one thing that bothers me, the fact that i can’t change the size of the page. when i’m writing and i zoom out it creates even more space, which is good, but not all the time. Then my work looks confusing and very messy. i wish that i could have a page size and it stick to that size, like in good-notes they have a page and then you can create another if you need more. I wish that was a option on one note. Other than that i love the app.
AI collectivized notation for higher education played out by large sports and body building. It’s all there, we just gotta learn together without intrusive or unmutual dynamics.
Like ability to link pages
I use OneNote for digitizing my work notes. I use it in combination with my iPad Pro. I’m a civil aviation designer and will work with OneNote open on my iPad and open it on my laptop so that I can leverage both methods at the same time. The only feature I wish it did have was to work collaboratively in real time. It would be great if I could brainstorm with people and see what they are typing as they are typing it. The sync feature makes it difficult to also transition from iPad to the laptop.
I’ve been using this app from its inception and there have been many good changes and improvements. I’d give 5 star if there was the ability to have consistent interface across mobile devices, same features across mobile devices and the changes in a page can be synchronized without constantly having to sift through versions on a computer to keep up with most current one. I’d love the ability to create templates for specific needs. Other than that, it’s cool. I hate that it no longer works on my
I am using this app on multiple devices. Works very well between my phone, computer, and ipad.
It would be nice to have font styling (headers, code, normal) and table support.
I wish the aap provide an option to luck the page width
So easy to use this was made for anyone to use if you can type a little bit then you can do anyting you want on here great for documents on the go
OneNote is a great tool to keep me organized. I use OneNote for work and personal notes and lists. I also store my most used replies for reviews, so that I can copy and paste.
Overall it does it’s job, it’s not laggy. And it syncs pretty fast.
I use the notes up for complex note taking for various fantasy based projects and I must say, the layout is streamlined, performance is smooth, and it’s no easy to use. Definitely recommend for anyone who want to make notes, even for simple to do lists!
Works great I always have my phone and when I get a random thought I post to One Note And poof it's on all my devices.
I’ve been using this application for years and years now. it’s never failed me, neither the app nor the site.
I just purchased a new per IPad Pro and One Note is my favorite app to use for note taking by far. The organization is awesome alongside the ability to change the color of the paper and layout make this a must download app.
I think the search engines aren’t that good at finding pictures and they need more and better pics
it’s annoying when you are using apple pencil. because sometimes the thickness of the pen changes. (it gets thicker and weird). I tried turning off the “dynamic thickness”. it worked but the writing experience doesn’t fill good anymore. please fix this bug.
The lack of refresh options on the iOS app is frustrating. I work with OneNote between mt desktop and iPad and it is frustrating to log out of the iPad and log back in to get something needed for a meeting to update timely.
Been using it for college for the past 5 years!
One note has saved me a great deal of hassle in moving my scripts and digital materials around. Thanks Msn. Lanre Dipeolu
Hey! I make lots of notes for lots of things & this app is fantastic! Multiple books, Color coded chapters, a choice in font, organized and very pretty too! I am so glad I found this app! :D
Good organization and good hand writing interface, but no iPad scribble support, no shape fill, and no way to set the notebook background to default. Can’t print to PDF well at all, and dark mode makes that a pain
Wish there was an undo button like desktop versions have so when you delete something on accident or move something in error you can undo that.
2 Negative User Reviews for Microsoft OneNote
The purpose of OneNote was to use in lieu of pen and paper and have reverted back to using that since notes do not often save or sync correctly with iOS. Disappointing and makes being successful at work difficult.
OneNote keeps crashing, tried following multiple suggestions to correct with no success.
