I love this game! It has great controls and puzzles, but for some reason, the water is invisible. I don’t get it. I can barely solve a single water puzzle with this issue. Anyways, great game.

The story is really nice, but the controls were just so annoying it kind of ruined it

This game is epic, the puzzles, realism, and the part where you die you get roasted. Also does the civilian get his boots back?

Sure wish there was a sequel to this game, so fun!

I really loved this game. The gameplay is great and I especially love the obvious homage to the Berlin Wall and the GDR.

First off the game is great, love the running and jumping, good story, good level design. Second off I dunno what all these other reviews are talking about with the controls, they’re fine. I encountered no problems with the controls or otherwise. Great game, keep up the good work!

I relay love the style and premise of this game, it’s pretty cool and enjoyable to play, I’ve quit this game because of its ,(kinda) unintuitive controls, there fine for the most part, except for the millions of time you have to run jump, it’s very unresponsive most of the time. Other than the run jump. This is a very solid game and I appreciate it.

I downloaded this game a while back, found it too difficult and deleted it, years later (now) I downloaded it again, and purchased the full game, and I have to say. It was the best purchase I’ve ever made on my iPad, If I could give more than five stars, I Absolutely would. This, In my opinion Is one of the best platformer/ puzzle game on the App Store, some puzzles can be a bit tricky, and take me a while But I managed to get to the end of the game. The concept for the game and the art style were great, but I have never gotten so incredibly frustrated at a game in my entire life, and I played Getting Over It. The controls for the game were so hit or miss that it made me want to strangle myself at times. I died so many times because of being a pixel off at a jump, or because the jump just didn’t read. It would be so much better if it had smoother controls, and more of a hit box for jumping.

I personally can’t spend money on games rn, but the part of the game that you can play for free was really enjoyable. only complaint would be the controls but I honestly kind of enjoyed the extra challenge.

I don't generally write reviews, specially one were you die so often it gets infuriating, but this game brought back the joy of gaming back in the 80s. Will follow the developer in the future.

I found the fun until I encountered the controls now they were good but sometimes tricky to use in tight spots when you need precision making going forward harder but otherwise your game is great I love the style so keep up the hard work!

This was a rare gem. Usually I spend my time playing weak sauce mobile MMORPGs or what passes for a MobA these days. I found this a week ago and wow. Best $7 I ever spent on a game. Well done!! I’ll be back for more.

The theme is very reminiscent of today’s Palestine and the apartheid Israel.

Wasn’t long after purchasing that you hit the impossible radiation room with stuff falling from the ceiling. So annoying and ending any fun I had. Waste of money

Had a lot of fun! Controls aren’t as great but enough to get you through the game without being too much of a hindrance.

Everything about the game is fine but I hate how there is a delay when tapping the controls. I try to jump and there is noticable delay that is very annoying

Why does it have to cost money it was exciting at first now seeing that I have to pay to play

I love this game and I got all the way to Day 1 Arena 4, when it told me I have to pay for the rest of the game. I thought it was free, but is it true I have to pay 6.99 for the rest?

Great game, but you should specify is a demo. I hope that this game grows. Is really well made and challenging

Pretty good game, love the art and controls are decent although maybe there should be an option for switching the action and movement position bottom. Love the game. 10/10

I think this game has promise but the controls are annoying. The dude constantly just jumps when I try to get him to walk. They need work.

I already have this game for Nintendo and now I can play it on my phone anytime! The gameplay is awesome and the puzzles are difficult but fun. Plus the humour is great.

...made the settings buttons larger, kinda hard to change them. Accidentally switched the text speed to slowest...it’s painful.

Gameplay and story itself is great, the controls are just off. Controls make it very hard sometimes to jump, as they don’t react properly on my XS Max.

This game has a great premise but it is ridiculously hard to control the character. I don’t think this game will get anywhere until the controls are redesigned.

An otherwise amazing game with great potential ruined by awful jumping controls. Seems like such an easy fix.

I’d probably really enjoy the game if the controls were responsive. The platforming should be the challenge, not getting carpal tunnel trying to get this guy to jump over things properly.

Fix. The. Controls. How are you gonna charge people this much and have it still unpolished? Idk how many times I’ve fallen to my death simply because the character wouldn’t jump when I needed him to.

I have NO IDEA how to jump??? the game doesn't tell you. I sometimes can run over a hole and the character will jump to the next platform, sometimes it just won't, what??????

How. An anyone read the dialogue or see what’s going on? There seems to be plenty of room to make the whole thing bigger.

I’ve enjoyed the story so far but the controls are absolute trash. Running and jumping at the same time is almost impossible and makes some of the levels much harder than they already are

I love the look and the premise but the controls are really cumbersome and not smooth at all. It really stops the gameplay. It shouldn’t be a frustrating experience just to play it.
