I love the puzzles provided. The app could use a bit of work since it seems like I need to force close the app to refresh it every day to get the new clue. Not a huge issue but would be nice for the app to autorefresh each day when the new clue drops.

This is the perfect thing to feed my word game obsession—the NYT daily crossword got a bit stale, and this has me excited about filling little boxes in again! 😊

I’ve been interested but intimidated by cryptic crosswords for a while, and this is a great way to learn their mechanics. I finished my first full cryptic on paper a few days ago and I’m so proud!

It would be great if the reminder/notification to complete the clue DIDN’T happen when you’ve already done the clue for the day.

The game itself is great, but in order to track stats you have to create an account. To create an account requires an emailed code, but the delay between requesting the code and actually receiving it results in the code no longer being valid when you try to enter it. Super frustrating!

I’ve been interested in cryptics for a while but found full puzzles inaccessible. MinuteCryptic is the perfect way to learn through daily clues an explanations. I have a 300+ day streak and have gotten so much better!

Every day a cryptic clue which is fun, clever, extremely well constructed, and often humorous. They are thrilling to solve, ranging from easy to nearly impossible, but there are hints to help you with the harder ones. When you figure it out you always come away thinking how ingenious they are and not feeling like it was a stupid trick. Mesmerizing!

I have been into connections, wordle, globle, worldle and many of the other daily challenges and these are by far the best and most creative challenges I’ve seen. Definitely worth the membership for the weekly minis and the create your own puzzles.

I used to the app to make an account, only to be told you have to manage membership on their website. However I didn’t see a clear link to their website. Only a link to preorder the book. I was going to get a membership to do back puzzles and such but I will just stick with the puzzle of the day, which is nice!

…until they make a night-mode. Throws everything off. Other than that, g o o d.

I love the majority of the puzzles and enjoy them in application format rather than a website. Some of the par assignments don’t quite make sense, but otherwise they’re different than other word games. The premium price is steep considering you only get one game. If it was more approachable you could get more people on board than a price more than nyt’s entire package

What an amazing riddle game. The feeling of satisfaction when solving a cryptic crossword clue under par or even with no hints used is spectacular! And the daily explanation video is such a treat - it has to be the part of the crossword that I look forward to the most. Great work!! I will be playing this for days and days!
