Measured moods are better moods

Moodapps helps is to get our moods separated from the triggers that influence them and explains some fundamental coping strategies for getting out of those toxic loops that used to could ruin a day for us. Definite thumbs up! Would love to see some improvement in the future. This would also work great for measuring how biased one could be..... Being tired is not necessarily a negative mind state at all times, or is it?

I love this app

Please add this word: thankful

Very Good App, but…

I like the app. It has a simple and helpful Format. The only problem is I’m unable to adjust the negative moods. The app only allows me to move around the positive moods. Is there any way to fix this?

Why?

Why do you have to pay for everything when you have r to pay for this high phone bill. I feel like this app should be free to help people get on track of their feelings.

Wonderful app

This app is a wonderful app to tell your emotions in your moods into think about the questions that have been asked in this app will make you wonder about why and how you do the things that you do and how you become your best self❤️❤️❤️

Very Helpful CBT app!

Even though I see a therapist and work on CBT and ACT techniques, it can be difficult to remember to use the techniques during every day life. With the app I can set a reminder to check in and see how I’m feeling and challenge unhelpful thoughts. Surprisingly, there have been times where the app actually made me stop my negative thought and reframe it which made me feel better. I didn’t think it would really do much when I downloaded it, but I’m pleasantly surprised!

One thing is missing

When selecting thinking traps, as soon as you select one, a dropdown text box should open up underneath so you can fight the trap immediately. When you pick 2 or more, and go to next screen, it’s impossible to remember them all. The two screens need to be combined.

I did okay-

I started stabbing my box violently because of rage ❤️

Good app , one small advice

This is such a good that that tracks my mood multiple times during the day. It’s also nice to see an analysis of my mood swing. One small piece of advice is that maybe to add a picture function attached to the mood tracker and memory. It would be even better if we can insert multiple pictures for one mood/memory. Appreciate the time and effort in developing this app.

Very Helpful

It helps me to keep on track on my mood swings, what triggers me and how to deal with them. It’s also helpful to have an overall before talking w my therapist. I would give a tip tho about the widgets to set on my Home Page— they look like it needs some adjustment.

No Updates in 2 Years

I purchased MoodNotes back when you purchased this app outright. Since then, they’ve gone the greedy way of asking for subscriptions. You would think that this would promote more consistent updates. Nope. Granted, the app has been invaluable in my mental health progress, but there seems little interest in making updates, so I may at some point make the break and just use Apple Health to record my moods. It just doesn’t offer the same detail (yet) that MoodNotes offers. I have asked for pos

It’s so excellent

I love it so much it’s so calming.

Moodnotes

I do like this app very much for it being able to track my mood everyday!

THIS IS AN AMAZING APP

Other then the fact you cant do much without the premium it's amazing. I have been doing daily enters since November 2023. I like it because i can track how i feel and when i feel like im always down i can look at the app. AND YOU CAN KEEP EVERYTHING PRIVATE, all you have to do is add a password and you can add a word password incase you forget the number one and if you don't remember it you have to put in a hint to let you know what it is. I really love this app and will continue to use it 😸

RCM

It was cream cheese but it was also bluekoo.

Amazing app

I love it I can log my mood any time with pins and notes and it tells me what time and date I wrote it but to expensive plus but free is still worth ur time... Good app

Great even without subscription!

Mood-Journaling for free, but the subscription is even better! If you want a free or pro choice mood-journaling app I definitely recommend this app! It’s amazing! On both Apple Watch and iOS! Really try it! I love how you can save entries on WatchOS, anywhere, any time.

The best app

I’m so thankful I keep using Moodnotes to journal. The prompts really help deepen my thoughts and desires. Thank you to everyone for working in this wonderful app!

Beautiful interface with excellent details

Beautiful interface with excellent details — you can input more detail about your mood, and then the app helps you identify cognitive distortions (CBT)

I Enjoy it

I love how I can say what ever I want to talk about it helps get my feeling out.

Great

I don’t usually leave reviews on apps but this is great I am a teen going through middle school witch is a hard 3 years so this helps a lot I don’t know how I could go on without it !!!! 😄

moodnotes

i think u guys should not make that overall average result only for premium. thats what i downloaded it for so i could see all at once how i was feeling over the last month or week and i cant do that without paying money. everything else is great, just change your premium stabdards.😊

I like this app

It puts in perspective things that I’m feeling and helps me to identify them. Also it makes me see i need to be grateful an to look at positive side of things

Best journaling and mood app!!

This app is a life saver. I downloaded it a few years ago when a pastor recommended it. I had to pay for it, but definitely worth the price. It’s only a one time fee and not too expensive. I just started using it on my phone and it’s super convenient. It helps me calm down when I’m really upset. I love that it has features to help you identify “traps” that contribute to negative feelings. It also has mental health articles you can read and quotes. Definitely recommend if you’re emotional and new

Trying it out

Just got it, Luk how it goes

Just started using

I like the app you can do it very easily

This app saved my life

It is the best CBT app but gets little love because it doesn’t ask for money or push itself in you. So many others face stolen directly from this app over the years that people may think it too simple. It is not. It is a tool app and the best one. The developers deserve more money than they are getting. Great app.

Great to recognize patterns

If you force yourself to really interpret your mood multiple times a day you start to recognize patterns of behavior and can adjust and grow from there. I love my time with this app (over a year) but wish I could have a dark mode.

Eh

Convinces you to get premium a lot overall sorta eh

Love

I really enjoy this app! Not only is it a great way to journal but it also helps figure things out and how to grow!

Life changing

I like this app because it lets me Express my emotions witch would usually be all bottled up

Incredibly Useful

Anyone who uses CBT techniques, or would benefit from seeing their emotions in data form, could use this app. It’s part of my daily routine of mindfulness, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have this tool in my tool belt to help cope with today’s world. ❤️

Helps me so much

I love mood notes my therapist recommended it and i love it it helps me so much. My favorite way to journal and express my self. Even when i just wanna say how i feel just a quick few taps gets of lot of my chest. Say how i feel or pour my heart out both are available. The best

Great app

This is my favorite journaling App. I just love the layout of this app and the emojis of this app. I like the layout of the journaling of how it makes you thinking about your thinking. I highly recommend it’s definitely worth the money!

Creative & Effective

Creative and a simple, effective visual format to gauge moods. As a therapist I find this great for my patients.

OMG ALL THIS TIME ANS I….

I finally found the one!!

Wonderfully insightful

Nicely designed app that’s very helpful with processing moods. I love the approach, which is surprisingly effective. I notice one bug recently. The app is no longer locked and when I go to set up a passcode again, the next screen doesn’t work. I’d like it so a passcode or Face ID is needed to use the app.

This app is everything.

Always there for me. The little notifications make checking in both easy and convenient. Thank goodness for the articles included; they have really helped when I was feeling low.

More categories of circumstances and modes of emotions.

I love this app. Totally worth it to me. One suggestion and update I want though is when I click on the topic like (studies, work, family,) there should be a religious/spiritual, community, memory, financial, trauma, etc. and more options to choose from. Putting them all under other “other” doesn’t nail down the root of every cause if it doesn’t appear in the graphic data later on. Would love to have more options for that.

A “few” flaws

I would rate this a five star if there were more options that don’t require you to spend. I’m 9 years old and I expect better. I like that it lets you say your feelings and what’s happening the day you are writing, but that’s all I can do and I still don’t have full access. Yes, I know this is my first day using this but if it wasn’t for the health app, I wouldn’t be using this at all.

Pretty good

It’s a pretty good app, I just have a few suggestions. It’s not that worth it for the subscription. I have two suggestions you should either lower the price 40$ a year is a lot of money for not that many added things or you should add more options available if you subscribe. Also you should make it possible to take a picture of yourself for your avatar so your avatar looks like you so it looks a bit cuter. I hope you take these into consideration. Thank you for reading my review if you have gott

Amazing. Truly amazing.

This is perfect. It’s so well done, methodical, and clearly intelligent, educated, and experienced people on the development team who created something life changing at the fraction of the cost of a therapist and much easier to schedule. Thank you to you all for your contribution.

2 Negative User Reviews for Moodnotes

Need money

It wants you to pay money to get things and help on the app. Literally if I had the money for a therapist I’d literally go to one. I’m broke stop costing money. Lowk not awful tho if your cool w limited features.

I bought this years ago for the mood traps function

Bought this years ago, funny how now I have to buy a subscription to do anything huh
