MosaLingua - Learn Languages App Reviews

There is no way to learn Spanish from this app. You don’t have the ability to learn from the beginning. They just start you off with random words and phrases. This is why I am failing. I don’t see any structure from this app. I bought this app years ago. I paid for a couple of extras. Then they added a subscription, which I don’t mind, but I had no intention of paying. Even so, that doesn’t matter. The main point is that after all these years I’m back to where I started. Total failure.

This app is amazing! I’m learning really quickly and I am so excited to be able to achieve this milestone. Thank you for creating this app!

Recent glitch froze app and prevented access. Contacted support and found that it affected most users and they were troubleshooting. They were able to quickly fix it and provided information on how to recover progress and my streak. Thank you!

Good learning tool and fun - but you still need to put in the work with flashcards, with any language app

Quick question for the developers? Do you or are you working on a Mexican Spanish dialect? I need that one. You currently have spain 🇪🇸 Spanish and that’s not to useful.

Overall, I think Mosalingua is a fantastic resource! The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is that I find it difficult to navigate to find what I want.

It would be hard to beat this app for learning vocab. It sort of teaches you grammar as well, but that is not the point of this app. I would use this in addition to speaking practice (such as Italki) and with a book (such as Assimil).

The software doesn’t download all of the vocabulary so sometimes it’s computer generated and very hard to understand. I paid for premium and it could be way better, the custom training plan comes out with the wrong dates on it and is a poorly formatted. I am still using the software and I think it has good ideas

MosaLingua is one of the simplest language apps to use - that’s a big plus with establishing a daily habit. The app excels at vocabulary building which is so important. I use it along with other apps that focus on other aspects of language learning. I’ve starting added my own flash cards to MosaLingua for things I need more practice with. My custom cards are added to my learning stack and handled just like other MosaLingua cards. Super helpful!

I love this app.

Used for 10,000 words in Italian. Now 1,000+ in Japanese. Great vocab trainer. Very flexible and can be used running, walking, biking, driving, (with hands free review mode) etc. making very efficient use of dead time or multi-tasking.

MosaLingua is the way to go. Don’t waste your time on that other app that is on trend. I love the way MosaLingua takes care of their students. They are always giving me new advice and ideas on how to achieve my goals. They are serious language lovers who are in the game because they’re passionate about languages, not because they want to sell something. Forget the gameified cartoons, MosaLingua is a community of language lovers! So glad I discovered them!

I’m really enjoying the app. I’m a new learner and I feel like the app is helping me to make the most progress possible. I’m also older so my memory isn’t what it use to be, but the reminders and the method of repetition seem to be helping a lot! I also like the tips and advice in the short video clips. It’s all very good info.

I then took the Spanish placement test on google and was certified for upper Intermediate. of course I did a few other things but this app really made that possible for me. Now they have created the Japanese version and im going to use the same method! I recommend this app seriously

Very useful for learning vocabulary and words in context. Quizzes are fun. Lots of free content- thank you MosaLingua!

This app uses spaced repetition. It’s the only method that makes sense to me.

I do not have premium, but I still like the app. However, I still find that even though I had paid for the old app, and purchased additional content, I am not willing to pay more for premium. I just don’t think it’s fair that so much content was not included in the new app for the original customers. I am not interested in a new account when I can use a facebook account to create an account. I can’t save the progress and its irritating it keeps happening regardless of me updating or rebooting the app. Over all a good app and easy to use but that bug needs to be fixed asap

Okay, you have my five stars. But I don’t understand why. I can not pay for Premium because I feel that the content is useful but not realistic. Every time I have to practice, it’s just words on a page. There is no structure in your method. I went to school for 12 years, so I know what structure is. Please try harder, at least for those who pay. Unfortunately, I’m not one who will pay because of my experience with your NEW app over the years. Thanks for what you did in the OLD apps. This is the first and only app we have ever tried that truly involves the learner in every aspect of language learning. We love the ability to hear our pronunciation against the tutor’s example. The daily reminders with perfectly timed review of terms and progress charts to see growth are top notch!

Love the mosalingua algorithm and it’s been great for my French. The app itself needs a remake. It’s not easy to use and the design is old. But overall, love this app

Excellent app for vocabulary, totally worth the paid version. No app can replace some study and listening/conversation practice, but this is a fantastic and essential tool for my language learning.

I see no new content for the Legacy Customers. Please explain whether or not we are included in this update. Previous Review: I am studying two languages. Why can’t the next Language pop up when I’m finished with the first one? Previous Review: It’s good but you have to pay for more. . . . .

Not huge fan of this app using daily for two months. Limited vocabulary flashcards with few sample sentences and visual cues. Bugs in the audio portion that tech support is not addressing. Bugs logging in and off the site.

Still trying to figure out best way to use app. The French words are sometimes different from other apps I have used. Very affordable but still waiting to see if it’s worth the purchase. Using two other apps free version with more success.
