Can buy tickets in app and can even see live status on train, which carts are open which carts are packed, very convenient 10/10

i’ve always used this app and loved it, for some reason i have not been able to purchase round trip

The app feeds you the information you need in real time. It tells you the track that is assigned seconds before it is announced which tells me the information is correct and quick. The cherry on top is the live ‘seats available’ chart of the train you’re on. It tells you where there might be sears available if the car you get into is full and you want to sit down.

Easy and fast way for me to commute to/from work.

This app comes in handy for any traveling by train in NYC and the surrounding areas. By far better than the previous option that was the MTA website. Navigating through the options and finding the right times (and affordable combo tickets between LIRR and MetroNorth) has been such a relief for me as I commute to work and travel for pleasure.

I go into the city about 2-3 times a month and the app has been fairly accurate with times and track numbers. Purchasing and using the electronic tickets has been a breeze.

Mta app makes life so much easier. You are able to see train time, buy tickets, see how crowded a cart might be! By far the best upgrade to train travel!

It is so easy to purchase train tickets online. All the options are clear and easy to follow.

Just needs to get the ability to use the Apple Dynamic Island to track train stops while you’re on a ride and it will be complete.

I’ve used this app countless of times for the Metro North to New Haven and now with the LIRR to Jamaica (for JFK). It is such a great and reliable app and the interface is very easy to understand. Keep up the good job!

If you can just add the ability to store a monthly pass to Apple wallet or at least give the ability to pull the pass straight from Lock Screen, that would make the app perfect!

Genuinely one of the best public transport apps in the world. Puts New Jersey’s app to shame.

I wish there were student discount tickets available.

It’s a great service but buying a ticket is tricky. It doesn’t go through the first time and have to sometimes restart the app more than once. Other than that it’s great.

Thanks for making such a beautifully designed app - if I could make a suggestion, maybe add a notification when you get within a stop of your ticket’s destination. Outside of that, I just am extremely impressed by the app, keep up the excellent work!

I find it absolutely shocking and unacceptable that there is no refund policy for single tickets, or that refunds are only available for purchases over $10 or $15. On five separate occasions, I have bought tickets in advance, believing I would be taking the Metro North, only to later realize that I wouldn't be using the service and thus losing $5 to $7 each time.
