Not the best

I really thought this app was going to be good I’m not saying it’s bad butI just don’t like it it doesn’t let you take photos of the mushroom so it will identify the mushroom and it’s just really hard to use.

I’m giving this two stars mostly for effort and future potential. It’s difficult to navigate without a set of instructions. I expected to be able to download a picture and the app give me the best match, as my plant & bug identifier apps do. The free version of this app includes only 20 species, which is not enough to discern whether it contains enough data to be useful. You can upgrade to the pro version for $9 but that only includes 300 species which is not even close to being useful. If the free version contained 300 species and the pro version contained good, reliable information on several thousand species, $8.99 would be a great deal. With 300 species, the pro version isn’t useful regardless of price. Too bad, because they lay
