Such a useful app and worth every penny. Imagine a multi-trillion dollar company utterly incapable of doing the simplest things that would make their product better for consumers (you know—kinds like adding play count visibility to a built-in app that’s been around for over a decade). Now imagine a small developer who calmly and instantly solves that problem for $1.99. That is the “Music Info” app, and this is their story.

Hope it supports Spotify.

It’s an amazing app I’ve used for years, but the one thing that bugs me is there’s no “Year” section for the song. There is the release date, and date last played, but no year. I upload a lot of local files to my Apple Music and sometimes need to remember what year they are from, but I can’t find an app that shows it.

Most poignant for times such as these. All ye who’ve willingly entered here -abandon all hope.

This app is so great! I love that it tells me how many times I’ve listened to a song! I missed having that feature!

Where are the lyrics? Apple Music is very deficient in this. As a former Primephonic subscriber I am very disappointed in this!

Great job! I have spent decades curating my metadata but could never see it in any other app before, only in iTunes. I don’t use Apple music only my own mp3 files. It would be great if you could add the ability to edit metadata on the iPhone. I use another app to rate songs since the Music player buries the star ratings too deep. You could probably write to that field and others. I’d pay extra for that. Thank you

This app is super handy if you are scripting music playback and need to see the metadata for a song on iOS.
