My Aurora Forecast & Alerts App Reviews

After missing out on a chance to see the northern lights one night, I found this app and it has allowed me to see the northern lights in my own back yard twice!

This app gives you an amber alert style warning when aurora could be visible from your location. I’ve never been able to spot aurora before in lower Michigan. With this app, I have now make great photos and time lapse videos several times a year.

This app helped me see the Aurora in Colorado last fall! What an amazing night!

This app is awesome.

I have been using it for the past two years. I love that it rings when the Aurora is visible in my area of the world. I’m in NorCal and have actually seen the Aurora three times in the past two years. Went to Norway and the app accurately predicted location.

i've seen northern lights 5x in less than a year using this app. i forget it even has ads because they're so infrequent.

My heart is beside itself! I’ve lived in Colorado my entire 39 years of life and we JUST moved to Montana and I got this app because about a month ago, I saw that they were active, but I missed them. Then I got the message from the app that they could be visible tonight! And they were!!! I was shaking. This is amazing.

I want to like this app, I really do, but it crashes quite frequently when I launch it. I’m on an iPhone 13 with the latest iOS version. I’ll pony up for the Pro version if the dev can fix the crashing.

Really wish the “Best Locations Right Now” displayed a timestamp when the entry was added.

This app told me hey get off you lazy butt, I don’t care if you were kayaking all day freezing cold feet so sore! Good app to track and see aurora. Reasonable accuracy. But make sure to go when there are no clouds

Uninstalled after 1 day because I got a total of 8 notifications, most of which were the same, telling me there was a low chance of seeing aurora in my area. I don’t need hourly updates, just tell me when it’s likely.
