The aurora map is extremely accurate. Sends notifications and they are correct!

Nothing gets me psyched like an Aurora alert. Unfortunately I live near Seattle. But it’s still cool!

I travel in the Canadian Northwest Territories in the winters. This app is a great resource for winter travelers like myself who enjoy watching the Aurora. If the lights are active it will tell you where and when you can or cannot see them - without fail. Really fun to use. Don’t travel to this area without the app.

I absolutely love this app. I use it in tandem with a few others to track the northern lights and solar activity. I love how it’s easy to use. I love the live streaming cameras. It gives me a chance to see the beautiful lights every night, until I can leave this death trap of a state Virginia and move out of this country

Along with compiling and condensing frequently updated data from multiple sources, it provides links to those sources (via the FAQ in the settings) for more detailed explanations of the data, how they are collected, and how to use them. I highly recommend the app for the Aurora-curious and encourage users to “buy (them) a cuppa” to help the developers continue to support such a fun app!

I was in Iceland, hoping to see aurora’s, but it was very overcast, and I was bummed after a week that I would never see anything. I found this app, and activated the alert system. I got an alarm, saying the odds were good, and I drove to the place they recommended. I saw one nearly instantly. I love this app, it saved my bucket list trip!! While in the UP used the app and it gave us a heads up for a beautiful event with 20 min notice Would have missed it without the app

This is an awesome App to keep track of the aurora. I am planning a trip Iceland this year 2017 and using this app to track when the lights are visible.

This is a great app to track the aurora borealis.

Aurora Pro looks like it will do the job. All I have to do now is hope that the Sun gets hmmm.…. Jiggy? Is that the right word? With sunspot minimum upon us, I might have to wait a bit.

Borealis kp8 was above my head on 11/11/2025 and was bored with my camera bag lock&load.

You can't use this app with the upgraded Apple Watch 4 watch faces. Big disappointment.
