Exceptional Stay at Jade

Staff at Jade went above and beyond expectations! They ALL deserve accolade’s! We were thrilled with every aspect of our stay! (We pretty much stayed in the Jade area because we loved it so much so can’t comment about other aspects)

Second visit to Club Med:No chance of getting bored.

We stayed at Club Med for the second time, and any concern that we might get bored quickly disappeared. The resort offers so many activities, entertainment, and an amazing beach that every day felt different and enjoyable. We did have an issue with a shower head that had some mold, but as soon as we reported it, the team replaced it before we even returned from the beach. Merci à toute l’équipe du Pragelato! Nous avons passé une super semaine de ski. L’accès à la cabine depuis le club est vraiment idéale. Toutefois, le choix du Sans Gluten pourrait être amélioré.

Superior Hospitality

We spent a week at Columbus Isle our third trip to a Club Med. This right now ranks as our fav due to the service and staff. The app is great for telling you all that is going on but really why sets club med apart is their crew.

Amazing place. Love everything about it. Best beach on Grace Bay. Food,drinks and service are outstanding. Great Massage by Roxanne was 5 star. Pool exercise by Etienne was great. Comfortable bed, clean room, housekeeping was outstanding. They have beverage service to the pool and beach now! Can’t wait to come back. The GOs are so friendly and fun The trapeze artists were fabulous!

Overall, nice experience

This is not the vacation for an older person or one who has not attended a club med previously The staff are warm and friendly and you can feel their team spirit but for six days I had no idea what a GO was people drink way too much get sloppy way too much and totally over eat. Great app, great resort, great food and most of all, Great People. We loved it and willl be back.

Update

The app has lag and takes a moment to load. Once I was at the resort, I got the app to work and it was quite helpful to have in order to see all the activities available and the times, when restaurants were open, etc. Original review - Horrible app. Buggy. Blank screens. Pops that keep popping up even after X’ing out. Cannot log-in even with verified credentials and passwords. iPhone 12 running iOS 17.3

Necessary…!

The app updates Club Med participants each day as to events, menus really helpful. But there’s no interactive map which fit a facility like Punta Cana is sorely missed.

Inadequate info

My family missed more events than we were actually able to participate in, thanks to the extremely limited info contained in this app. e.g. Are event signups required? Where is the signup? Are children allowed? What ages? You probably won’t find this info in the app, so you’ll still need to contact the front desk or divine the info in some other way. Having an app to rely on is great, if it’s reliable. Unfortunately Club Med’s isn’t fit for purpose. And also given that an app *could*

Needs improvement

Everyone complained about the app. It was wrong sometimes and also is hard to navigate. I used it to check the times of things and the dress code. You can only book things in person, except for the spa and I didn’t try any bookings for them.

Buggy. Limited functionality

Buggy with limited functionality. Does not remember me and must constantly log in, even though at the resort. Opened it multiple times and now won’t even open at all with, “oops something went wrong”. Tossed it and will try reloading

Practically unusable from start

Anyone else having the problem that the login screen won’t scroll and the pop up keyboard blocks all the fields that I’m supposed to fill in? I’ve copied my file number but can’t find any way to paste it. I’m on an iPhone SE2 running iOS17.2 Update 2023-12-28 loaded new version and now 1 line is visible above the keyboard so it’s now just barely usable - up to 2 stars.
