Have had this app for a few yrs and it never disappoints! Shows strikes accurately and timely!

I love this app. I also have a suggestion for future updates of this app that if we click on a lightning strike it tells you whether it’s cloud to cloud or cloud to ground

Great app, not overly fussy but enough options to work well for my purposes of clearing sports fields during weather events. I do really wish you could mute the alerts temporarily like other apps (ex 1hr, till tomorrow, etc) without turning a off this app’s notifications or changing the radius to 0 as the app suggests. I then have to set a reminder to restore my original settings, doable but annoying. I need this for work so I need it reliably, but I also want to just mute it when I’m at home…in

I use this app in film/tv industry. It has become an invaluable tool to check for lightning to enact our safety protocols should it strike within our zone. The ability to change the diameter of the zone as well as the time tracking capabilities makes this app a must have.

This app is essential for any swimmer who needs to know whether to swim outside or inside on any given day. Now all the aquatic folks at my club also have the app to help make informed decisions about whether to keep outdoor lanes open in sketchy weather!

This app has kept me and a handful of coworkers safe. Greatly appreciate this app!

Highly recommended if you find yourself needing to know the exact location of a lightning strike and exactly at what time…I couldn’t do without it!

Very accurate

Great for winter storms and summer lightning storm. As a firefighter it a great tool to see where the down strikes are hitting.

I live in the central Valley of California. I’m a volunteer fire Lookout in the Sequoia national Forest and Kings Canyon national Park. I rely on this app, especially when I’m staffing a Lookout cab, to help me see where there’s been lightning and then I can look for smokes. I appreciate not only the location of lightning, but also the ability to see the current weather. Thank you very much for a great tool.

I like the basic app but wish you could set the area range without using your fingers. On an iPhone it’s cumbersome.

Great app! Keeps us up to date on impending weather

I’m a HAM radio person with an expensive antenna close to my house. My Lightning Tracker Pro is absolutely GREAT at warning me when to disconnect the coax. LOVE THIS APP!

me using voiceover since i have never been able to see a screen this app saved my computer several times. £Voiceover-accessible.

My Dog and lightning pro vi for accuracy as to when lighting is near. Both are pretty good.

I use this app on my watch when I’m on the water in my rowing shell. Very useful here in FL where we get lots of thunderstorms. Would like to see it added as a “complication” for the Watch.

My Lightning Tracker is an essential tool to have while outdoors in Southwest Colorado’s San Juan Mountains. Storms build up fast over the 13 and 14,000 foot tall peaks during the monsoon season. Getting the lightning warning along with the latest radar helps me to prepare for severe weather during my outdoor adventures or around my ranch.

I live in Durham NC and use all the time. Very accurate!

Great app. I do photography and lightening shots are one of my shots. Money well spent.

Whenever there is an active thunderstorm or during a hurricane nearby, my iPad and cellphone relays the message, “Lightning has been detected in your area.”, with the sound of a thunder clap! Love knowing how close or how bad the storm is.

This app is fantastic- I work in a crane and this app keeps me and people around me safe. I have one suggestion/request: can you add an “all clear alert”? I have mine set up to OSHA standards of 10 miles/30 minutes and have to constantly check it while down to see when I’m all clear to work. An all clear sound would be an awesome addition in my opinion and the only thing this app is missing.

I’ve use this app for two years and I have taken over a hundred lightning photos. With the radar feature, you can almost plan your spot to take photos. It’s great for forecasts on days off to!

This app shows the lightening strikes around our house. My wife likes to go outside and look at the storm…no more! Thank you!

For my purposes of coverage for athletic events, this app has been great.

Initially the app wouldn’t respond to user inputs. After deleting and reinstalling the app, now it’s OK.

Horrible! The storms now are pixels. Not smooth. Please fix!

I used to love this app and relied upon it for several years. Somehow, my radar stopped working. The lightning tracker was excellent and worked in many places in the world.. most recently the regular lightning tracker radar stopped working, so I upgraded to lightning tracker pro. My radar is still not working and I contacted customer service but no resolution. Hoping that they’ll solve the fix.

Works good most of the time. Radar overlay rarely loads. Lightning notifications are really nice feature.
