Periodic Crashing
The app works well in general. Have a few issues however. First the default metrics show European even though they look at first to be set to Imperial (Distance, Altitude and Height) I change them then they default back and i go back to metrics and set each back to Imperial and save. So annoying. Second, the app crashing multiple times yesterday and I lost data around an active session. Get a spinning symbol. I was forced close and restart. Third, the app asks for my email and password all the
Just okay
Always gets the maximum gradient wrong. Sometimes doesn’t give the motor and battery usage information after a ride. Sends the wrong speed info to Strava. My Apple Watch is much more accurate and consistent so I use that as my main tracker.
73yo road biker Bianchi Aria X35
Once I figured out how to apply software updates the X35 became an amazing tool for long steep climbs. I would recommend this technology for any rider over 60.
Loads of data but ugly
The design of the app is cumbersome and ugly. The colors, fonts, and layout. It has so much data and is easier to use than other bike apps. I just don’t like looking at it. Would be nice if you didn’t have to be recording a ride to get the data on the screen.

Cadence?
The app works well and its nice to see how much power assist is added in real time.
Since we can see heart rate data it would be great to pair with a Bluetooth Cadence Sensor
Not that bad.
I have had very few issues with the app. It has performed as advertised. I think the app is a work in progress and has probably improved since the initial reviews. That said I would like to suggest a few improvements. One thing I dislike about the Mahle iWOC controller is the inability to go from level 3 to level 2 without cycling through off and one. It would be nice to select the desired boost level directly in the app. Second it would be nice to connect the app to a cadence counter. And final
Boffo at the box office!
Glad to see some of the improvements on this app. Best one is the ability to change from eco to tour to turbo on the smartphone.
Keep them coming!
Battery drain
Wow, this app DEVOURS my iPhone 13 battery.
Love the Smartbike!
Easy to use and gives all the stats I want right on my iPhone Avg speed, miles, MPH and more.
LeMond Dutch
I love the bike in every way - the Mahle App is glitchy- doesn’t always connect as expected.

Update good & bad
I am glad to see the lock option on the app now. But you BROKE the Motor Map settings!! Before it would save my setting from ride to ride. NOW I have to remember to check EVERY ride. Because it resets to custom and custom will NOT keep my preferred custom setting and puts every level at 100%! So now my bike is LESS customizable than it was before!! Please fix this. It would also be nice if the app did not lose connectivity so easily from my bike during activities.

Heart Rate link to iPhone stopped working
This feature was working before the iwatch iOS update.
Anyone else having this issue?
App crashed and lost data fixed.?
Contacted by customer service and explained the issue. Have not had any problems since. Customer service contacted me immediately after the problem. Mahle has been very helpful in solving the problem.

Drains phone
I would love to give this app more stars but my biggest issue is the app drains my iPhone battery. I have tried adjusting all types of settings on my iPhone but nothing seems to work. Tried researching this issue and no one seems to have an answer. Would love to hear from Mahle and figure out how to solve this problem
Total miles is broken
Been using the app for since 2021 At first it was happily collecting total miles on the bike then it reset itself around July to zero yet partial individual rides showing from April. After 3 months it reset itself again to zero yet still showing individual rides from April Another issue is it says it’s sending updates to Strava and from Aug 22 to current it doesn’t update. The other features seem to work, motomaps, speed, distance. Having a total mile log is helpful for all kinds of reasons

Mahle X20 vs Ebikemotion (more!) power/output difference
I’ve had the Ebikemotion Pinerillo Dyodo for 5 years (now with Mahle app) now and love it, although it has considerable drag at all 3 levels when you stop pedaling, of course heavy too.
Just purchased an new Oreba Gain custom build with the new X20 system, which I’m very impressed with the improvements…EXCEPT there is a entire level difference in power. I ran Level 2 on the Dyodo majority of time, but on X20 I have to run Level 3 and it’s still not as powerful. What’s the problem here? Will adju
