It looks like there are some improvements made to the app. My Dysons are old. I have 2 air cleaners and 2 heater/coolers/fans. This was before they combined the three into one machine. I like knowing the temp in my rooms.
Works great, one less remote to worry about losing.
Would be great if it offered shortcut actions like other smart home apps. I want to setup routines to turn my dyson Hot+Cool on and off (turn off in the morning, set night mode and a specific temperature at night, etc).
App runs well including the physical remote option. App may crash and disconnect. Somehow reset Dyson app and physically disconnect the fan and plug back in made the small glitch go away. Still runs well but will monitor wireless remote control app. My logic is if the app doesn’t work then thank goodness for remote controls.
Since day one, I have been comforted assured and a feeling of well-being when I plugged this machine in for the first day. It’s accurate, quiet and replaces an air conditioner! The service is wonderful thank you guys. Keep up the great work. I also have an older Dyson seven vacuum that works perfectly so you guys do a great job!
The single button function on the fan while elegant and simplified can be problematic and limiting. The app often loses connection to the fan and requires several on/off attempts before reconnecting. There should be a panel of some kind that eliminates the absolute need for an app on the actual fan - at a minimum to control fan speed and oscillation.
I have to remove my device and re add it every now and again in order to get it to connect. It just spins on connecting forever otherwise.
Im trying link my machine to the app and so my phone connects to the machine wifi but it nevers turns white it just keeps blinking green. Also it seems to not find my machine. It’s really frustrating I was so excited to have one in so long hopefully so can resolve this issue. The machine is great it just the app I guess.
i like the app and its features, but when i first got it, my purifier wouldn’t connect for the first 3 days, and still now wont show up on apple watch, besides that pretty useful
My dyson hot cold fan is exactly what I needed. Love this thing. Gives me hourly updates on air quality

I use this app daily with my iPad at night. It saves me from having to get out of bed to look for the remote. Just awesome
Cannot schedule more than five time slots. And only I can change humidity in 10 degree increments. This is inconvenient since the machine’s hygrometer is off by 5%.
I rate this product very high , I hav allergies . It makes me feel very comfortable , and it cleans the air very nicely .
Is there a better way to only apply “Oscillation” without changing the fan speed? I have set “full speed” in Shortcut for speed 10 with no rotation. But if I just want to apply oscillation, I have to set another “full speed swing”; which means I have to creat two different triggers to activate each speed level.
This machine works so good, with all the smoke from Canada it does a great job keeping the air quality in my house clean and you can see it on display.
I have had machine about three years. It has improved my breathing and decreased shortness of breath and allergy symptoms. reacts quickly to changes in the air quality. If I’m frying something in the kitchen that has a strong odor or gets burnt it quickly turns on. It also reacts to unknowns that changes the air quality. I strongly recommend this machine.
I love my Dyson smart fan. So much better than the non smart fan, I would know, I’ve had both. But, my only complaint is that I’ve replaced the filter now, twice, I continue to see the ‘need to replace the filter’ warning. It’s annoying and continues to come back even when I toggle the display screen away from it. Make it so this display goes away, for good. I get that it’s trying to make sure you replace the filter, and it’s right, mine has needed to be replaced. But after I replaced it, the sa

Seems to work well, but you cannot adjust all of the options without the remote and I can’t find mine. Wish that all options were available in the app. Please update ASAP.
Why would I have to enter all my serial numbers and dates of purchase for additional products when I’d previously registered everything on your site and you have that info. Also, description states 24/7 support/documentation for all other products. If it’s there it’s hiding from me. Let me access info on older products - vacuums, fans, humidifiers, etc. Control is nice though.
This is an amazing app. However, this time around I’m only giving it three stars because developers have ignored the need for using the app on large iPads positioned in ‘Landscape.’ Craning my neck to view has not been a very pleasant experience over several years now. It surprises me that Dyson does not take this seriously.

Recently I’ve been having issues connecting to my dyson. It seems others who left review is stating the same thing. Please fix!! Sometimes it will work after very long time or multiple force close and reopen.
App is so poorly designed and zoning and all that can be done so much better but this app so poor… for 1k i paid for this app is such a junk
