nice app

how to clean cache?

Nice app

This app is better than some of the paid RSS readers out there. I like how well it utilizes screen real estate on the iPad. The only issue I have is push notifications not working. I grant permission, but none ever come through. Otherwise it’s a stellar app.

Great App, but Last Update’s UI is Minus Usefulness of Previous Version

👍 Excellent app AND open source, but the most recent version, when in landscape mode, now hides the list of feeds on the left. 👎 Also, I agree with others, there should be a way to clear the cache (ahem, cookies) if a webpage is viewed within the app.

Continued syncing issues

The iCloud account option has not worked on iPad for over a month now. I have removed the account multiple times, uninstalled the app and reinstalled several times and re-signed in to my iCloud account. It starts to sync, but never completes and never displays any content. Tried the same on a different iPad with the same result. No issues on my iPhone though so this seems to be an issue with the iPad version of the app?

iCloud syncing issues in the iPad app

I use this app on my Mac and on my iPhone, and they work well. However, it doesn’t work on the iPad.

After many moons of searching…

This is how I’ll digest the pulse of the world. I tried a bunch of apps, many of which were either too expensive or too lacking in features. NNW has a nice ‘out of your way’, intuitive interface. I’ll be exploring more, but so far, I am liking what it provides.

Great app; needs better cache control

Overall love the app; switched years ago and have never looked back. What I don’t like is how much space the app takes up on my phone due to the cache, and I have no way to clear the cache or otherwise reduce its size.

No notification

It doesn't notify you when a new item is found. You have to search it out manually. Edit: nevermind I found it buried in an info menu. Needs to be redesigned

My Favorite RSS Reader

When you follow as many sites as I do, a good RSS reader is worth its weight in gold. I’ve been using this for some time now, and have since put it on every device. It’s invaluable and saves me so much time. Also love its open source too. Not enough positive things to say about it.

The perfect RSS reader on iOS

Have been using this multiple times every single day for years. Solid app

Great Feedly replacement.

Once I looked to Feedly to replace Google Reader. And now I look to NNW to replace Feedly and wish I had tried it earlier. It’s great! It’s both open source and well written, what a great combination! I only wish I had tried it sooner.

✅Update bug FIXED

All better now, Thanks 😊 - After the latest update, NetNewsWire does not remember to hide Read articles or feeds. I say I don’t want to see feeds that have nothing unread in it. They close up , I say within a feed I don’t want to see any already read articles, they close up, but when I shut down NetNewsWire and open it again, everything comes back, please fix, 😊

The BEST Rss reader

Love its clean design!
