12 Positive User Reviews for Neuro Toolkit

Nice

Nice collection. The dysarthria word list link does not work.

screen navigation problems fixed

It is very helpful to have so many scales in one place. Well laid out. I haven't found any similar apps which are this comprehensive.. The new version fixes the back button on the TIA/Stroke /SAH scale page. Highly recommended.

Neuro

Great tool for a fast assessment and evaluation in an emergency setting. I recommended it to all my colleagues.

Neurology m.d.

This app is ok. I would like to see pediatric dosing guidelines added to the epilepsy medication section however.

Helpful, could use a couple more tools

As an Emergency Physician, I frequently use the neuro toolkit, particularly the NIH Stroke Scale. I would love to see more head injury-related material, especially the New Orleans Criteria and Canadian CT rules--combined or separately.

Comprehensive app for neuro resident

I use it every time on call. Great for both neurology and neurosurgery residents

Switch to PDF makes it less efficient

An amazing app for neurologists. The use of rating scales makes ones practice more quantitative. However, the recent switch to PDF makes the app much less useful. The previous format of emailing a text file allowed copy/paste to EMR is a concise format. Copying from a PDF file puts in unwanted spaces between lines and is much less efficient overall. Please switch back to emailing text format files or having an option for both in settings. The password protection is hardly necessary as no one in

Aphasia images gone

I'm an Emergency physician and have used this program for over a year. I especially like the NIHSS, makes quick testing so easy. The latest update however no longer has aphasia images. When I go to screen it's blank. I'm on IOS 10.2. I've erased and reinstalled. Please fix this bug! Thanks. Alex

The best app for acute neuro management

Strong foundation for acute scores and management recommendation. Good app for clinic use too. Definitely recommended to be used by every Neurologist/ ED specialist dealing with acute neurological conditions.

Use for acute stroke work up and it’s NIHSS

Great tool in the pocket to have to perform the NIHSS score on stroke patients. I have been using it for years. Hope they continue to support it and update it. Other resources seem helpful too yet I use the NIHSS the most.

Excellent for Neurologists!

Perfect to have all the important scales and scores right at your fingertips

I like the app, but needs updated.

The app is straightforward and easy to use and navigate. Only problem is that it hasn’t been updated in a while. Last update was in 2019. The NIHSS needs to be updated to include the addition of the right and left distal motor function. The results can be up to 4 points different depending on if you are using the old scale or the new scale. I stopped recommending this app until the scale gets updated.
