Worth the money!!

I absolutely love this game. It’s so much fun and there’s hourssssss of gameplay. 10/10

Multi-Classing Broken

The release notes say that it supports up to 8 multi-classes, but upon level-up, I can never choose a fourth class.

Not a new user

I got the diamond edition for pc years ago when windows 98 was a thing. Got it again from beamdog for my android tablet. Now I’m getting it a third time for my iPad mini. Thanks for keeping it available.

Horrible UI and resolution on latest update (FIXED)

(UPDATE) Found the solution to UI scaling too small: Game Options > UI > Advanced > UI Unconstrain Scale (default OFF, change to ON) > Restart game. Could then increase the scaling above max value of 1.6 - be mindful though as if you go too high seems like it can break the view. ——— Was perfectly fine before recent update (1.0.7), now everything is far too small - hard to see, hard to click, much worse experience overall. UI scaling maxxed out at 1.6 - no way to increase higher than that unfortu

Five Stars

Been playing since well, I have gold and platinum editions in box with all the goodies. Now I play on a device smaller than the manual. This is killer🤘

Great game but crashes a lot

Great game but crashes a lot when you play any audio but neverwinter nights audio. So that means no apple music playing in background. The port itself is good for ios. It’s a lot of fun to have mods in the game to use.

Needs Controller Support

The mobile version of this game is a great value for the price, but I would love to play it with my Backbone controller. Please add support devs!

Meh

Mediocre at best, unless you like spending half your play time swinging at (and missing) locked chests. Navigating on the iPad takes some time and is frustrating. The game seriously lacks the immersion and exposition of the earlier Bauldurs gate package (by the same folks, try that package it’s amazing. Also 2e adnd rules that appeal to me more, being 42 years old) I’ll keep playing since i bought it.

Great game

This is an awesome game but I wish it had controller support

Premium modules I paid for stuck loading forever

So I’ve played with friends for many years on the original and EE version for console, and it’s amazing. Wish I could install any of the modules I bought tho

No controller support

A great way to play on the go but I would love to see controller support. I know you can do it. There are ports of this game on xbox PlayStation and Switch.

Can you Enter DM Mode?

Can you use DM mode in iPad? I’ve tried ~ and ## nothing works.

No iPad update, but they did a pc update.

About 6 months ago the pc version got a huge update, but not the iOS version. I played this on the pc as it came out when I was younger but bought it on iOS so I can play again on a touch screen. Would be nice if the devs updated this version too, like the pc version. Especially since they resold us (which I bought again) all of the premium modules we already paid for or the original developers had given away for free.

Controller support please!

Love this game! Would be great to have controller support!

Controller Support?

This is a faithful port of an amazing game. Will there ever be controller support?

Please add controller support for iphone

Too difficult to play with touchscreen port over the console controls so I can ise my backbone with this

Good game but frustrating settings for mouse and keyboard

The mouse function on IPad doesn’t actually work and just operates as a touch input. It has the options in the settings for it but they are not functional. Other games allow for this so I know its possible. Touch controls in a game like this are really frustrating when it comes to combat and navigation. Please fix this issue.

Neverwinter Nights is THE BEST!

I have been playing this game for four years & sometimes I’ll get bored of it a go to other games, but I always eventually come back to it. You will not be disappointed. This game is the BEST!

need chinese language

this is a very nice game but we need chinese language please

Module issues

I purchased two paid module packs within the app, but the modules will not download. I would rate the game higher based on the quality of the base content, but I would appreciate if this was fixed.

New version won’t work on my iPad

Update: The latest update fixed it. Quick response from the developer to correct it. Original review: I really enjoyed this app, but since the 1.0.5 update the other day it won’t work on my iPad anymore and it worked fine before. Now it crashes as soon as I try to open it. Running iOS 12.5.5 and I can’t update iOS any further. Please made version 1.0.4 available again.

Amazing port.

I’m having a blast with this classic game on the iPad. So much content and depth it’s definitely worth the cost. I must admit I forgot how bad the portrait art and 3D models were back in the day. Still, if you can get past your toon looking like a Robo-Cop melted Pink-Popeye Gorilla Trog then this game is an amazing dnd RPG.

The good old days

I picked this up when I had to wait an entire day for new windows at my house. It is a great adaptation of the original. I plan to keep playing long after the one-day I initially expected to be entertained for.

Wouldn't recommend this for phones

Camera controls and scripts could not be adjusted properly, after making adjustments through the options screen. The game is not enjoyable d/t difficulty switching to an acceptable first person or free moving top down. The script is too small. It can be increased, yet must be reduced again in order to access the game screen.

Great job keep up the good work

Long story short, these Dungeons & Dragon games have been currently getting me through hard times due to my health. Please keep porting more of these D&D titles to Apple Mobile. Dungeons and Dragons Online would be a dream come true. Please keep up your hard work, I for one appreciate your company’s products.

True to the Original

I played this some on PC back when I was young and first getting into D&D, love this mobile version. The only thing I could suggest for the touch screen port is a setting that pauses/unpauses per round or a bigger pause button.

Please add controller support

Please add controller support

Even better with controller support

I love this game so much it would be even better if it had controller support like the switch version!

Another Home Run!!

Almost like the old PC version. Keep the hits coming!!! Although this version really eats my iPhone battery, but hey NeverWinter Nights knock’s it out of the ball park.

Almost Perfect

This is a fantastic port, and the ability to edit the game directly through Files is a big help; I only wish it was more compatible with more of the PRC content and class/prestige classes packs.

Camera abhorrent

The game is complete, but the way the camera works is distracting and unpleasant.

I hope add Chinese

the game is good but not Chinese

No sound on iPad Pro?

The game seems to work well, but there is no sound despite checking the app settings, restarting it, etc.

The good standard for RPGs

Epic. Fun. Interesting. Attractive. Repayable. No other RPG comes anywhere close.

I like the game a lot

How do I create my own module on IPhone?

Great addictive game but keeps crashing

Great game but keeps crashing on arelith server which lead to inaccessible character until reset

Overall pleased

Any AD&D aficionado will appreciate this game. Appears to be a replica of the PC port. Have encountered no issues thus far.

Good game but how to invite people to party?

Friends can join my server by locating it but when I try to invite them to join my party to join my game I can’t the menu is faded

Can you add autosave when enter a new location?

And a back up quick save Would be even better

Awesome Game with great internet options

If you like the old school RPG games, this is for you. Been playing the internet games for months and never get tired of them.

Beautiful!

How beam dog transformed this game into a touch screen is just gorgeous! From someone with a tech background, I can tell y’all put a ton of work into this game. It will be perfect someday. Just beautiful!

Deekin won’t multi class

Love the game, but Deekin can’t multiclass.

3 Negative User Reviews for Neverwinter Nights

Multiplayer doesn’t work

On iOS 16 the game cannot validate the CD key and stalls on trying to enter multiplayer. Bought this specifically for that purpose, so pretty disappointed

Cannot finish original campaign

The port is fine and plays much like the PC version did 20 years ago. I have no issue with the gameplay in general until I reach the end of the original campaign. The statues at Morag are all immune to all damage types except negative, magic, and holy, none of which can I get on my rogue. It’s a shame, otherwise a good game.

Tedious

Ugh. As a fan of Baldurs Gate and many other RPGs, I was excited to play this one. I tried. I tried so hard to like it.
