Please add controller support for iphone

Too difficult to play with touchscreen port over the console controls so I can ise my backbone with this

Good game but frustrating settings for mouse and keyboard

The mouse function on IPad doesn’t actually work and just operates as a touch input. It has the options in the settings for it but they are not functional. Other games allow for this so I know its possible. Touch controls in a game like this are really frustrating when it comes to combat and navigation. Please fix this issue.

Neverwinter Nights is THE BEST!

I have been playing this game for four years & sometimes I’ll get bored of it a go to other games, but I always eventually come back to it. You will not be disappointed. This game is the BEST!

need chinese language

this is a very nice game but we need chinese language please

Module issues

I purchased two paid module packs within the app, but the modules will not download. I would rate the game higher based on the quality of the base content, but I would appreciate if this was fixed.

New version won’t work on my iPad

Update: The latest update fixed it. Quick response from the developer to correct it. Original review: I really enjoyed this app, but since the 1.0.5 update the other day it won’t work on my iPad anymore and it worked fine before. Now it crashes as soon as I try to open it. Running iOS 12.5.5 and I can’t update iOS any further. Please made version 1.0.4 available again.

Amazing port.

I’m having a blast with this classic game on the iPad. So much content and depth it’s definitely worth the cost. I must admit I forgot how bad the portrait art and 3D models were back in the day. Still, if you can get past your toon looking like a Robo-Cop melted Pink-Popeye Gorilla Trog then this game is an amazing dnd RPG.

The good old days

I picked this up when I had to wait an entire day for new windows at my house. It is a great adaptation of the original. I plan to keep playing long after the one-day I initially expected to be entertained for.

Wouldn't recommend this for phones

Camera controls and scripts could not be adjusted properly, after making adjustments through the options screen. The game is not enjoyable d/t difficulty switching to an acceptable first person or free moving top down. The script is too small. It can be increased, yet must be reduced again in order to access the game screen.

Great job keep up the good work

Long story short, these Dungeons & Dragon games have been currently getting me through hard times due to my health. Please keep porting more of these D&D titles to Apple Mobile. Dungeons and Dragons Online would be a dream come true. Please keep up your hard work, I for one appreciate your company’s products.

True to the Original

I played this some on PC back when I was young and first getting into D&D, love this mobile version. The only thing I could suggest for the touch screen port is a setting that pauses/unpauses per round or a bigger pause button.

Please add controller support

Please add controller support

Even better with controller support

I love this game so much it would be even better if it had controller support like the switch version!

Another Home Run!!

Almost like the old PC version. Keep the hits coming!!! Although this version really eats my iPhone battery, but hey NeverWinter Nights knock’s it out of the ball park.

Almost Perfect

This is a fantastic port, and the ability to edit the game directly through Files is a big help; I only wish it was more compatible with more of the PRC content and class/prestige classes packs.

Camera abhorrent

The game is complete, but the way the camera works is distracting and unpleasant.

I hope add Chinese

the game is good but not Chinese

No sound on iPad Pro?

The game seems to work well, but there is no sound despite checking the app settings, restarting it, etc.

The good standard for RPGs

Epic. Fun. Interesting. Attractive. Repayable. No other RPG comes anywhere close.

I like the game a lot

How do I create my own module on IPhone?

Great addictive game but keeps crashing

Great game but keeps crashing on arelith server which lead to inaccessible character until reset

Overall pleased

Any AD&D aficionado will appreciate this game. Appears to be a replica of the PC port. Have encountered no issues thus far.

Good game but how to invite people to party?

Friends can join my server by locating it but when I try to invite them to join my party to join my game I can’t the menu is faded

Can you add autosave when enter a new location?

And a back up quick save Would be even better

Awesome Game with great internet options

If you like the old school RPG games, this is for you. Been playing the internet games for months and never get tired of them.

Beautiful!

How beam dog transformed this game into a touch screen is just gorgeous! From someone with a tech background, I can tell y’all put a ton of work into this game. It will be perfect someday. Just beautiful!

Deekin won’t multi class

Love the game, but Deekin can’t multiclass.

Blast from the past!

As cheesy as that sounds, it brings me back to when I was a kid. Great job!

Finally thanks!

Thanks ! Finally , the wait is over.

Excellent port

Been waiting for a long time, happy to say it’s a great port. It runs perfect on my iPad, has comfortable controls, and has the same server listings as the PC version, with cross-play. At $10 it’s a steal.

Good, but a bit buggy with magic.

Sorcerer has been crashing regularly when I try different things (tried to put a spell book in the wrong menu, trying to cast spells presumably wrong, the pattern being spells being moved or touched) melee seems fine so far.

Knocked it out of the park !

Video, controls are smoother than the PC version for me. One crash in quite a few hours of gaming. Overall - this is a A ++++ release. Nice work Beamdog !

DLC Issues Have Been Fixed

Issues with the DLC have been fixed in the last update. Game is finally perfect! This is a must play old school RPG.

I’m too happy!

I can’t stop smiling! Been waiting years for this to happen. My all time favorite dnd game. Now on my phone!!! A few glitches - spellbook doesn’t seem to be working for my paladin. Otherwise, I’m ecstatic!!!

Great port

I’m having issues with loading the free dlc I plan on purchasing the rest of the dlc when I get the chance I’m just hoping you folks can fix the issue thanks. Updated review the dlc is working fine now honestly it’s a great game so far.

Awesome game! Spell issue has been fixed

The game freezes whenever you try to learn a new spell. I will change to 5 stars if this is fixed. Edit:The bug has been fixed. The rating has been changed to 5 stars.

Can’t play Totally

This is my first time to write the review. I bought this and all DLCs first it released. But why every time I save the game, it crash? It totally ruins the game!!! Developers please answer my question.

Great Port!

I played this game many years ago on a pc, and I’m impressed by how well the game was captured and implemented on iOS! It’s a great rpg, and one of my all time favorites. Spending money to get this game was a no-brainer.

Buggy

The game crashes/freezes frequently on my iPad Pro

Fun

It’s really a fun and great game. The only complaint i have is it froze up on me a couple of times.

Sound works

I get no sound. Using latest iOS on an iPad Pro. Update: Sound works if I enable the ring switch. Thanks for the response :)

Interesting from the original

I used to play original, this is neat it’s a good pot so far🗿!

3 Negative User Reviews for Neverwinter Nights

Tedious

Ugh. As a fan of Baldurs Gate and many other RPGs, I was excited to play this one. I tried. I tried so hard to like it.

Great port, I just wish I could play it.

The game crashes on saves, when you load into areas, and is extremely buggy. To say the least I am a bit disappointed, and feel skeptical about purchasing the rest of the games developed by the team.

Quite Buggy

Although there has been a patch, I can rarely play more than 5 minutes without it quitting out. It’s too bad, because I’ve always loved NWN, but currently it’s really not very playable for me.
