Love it
You’ll find stories here you won’t find elsewhere
True reporting
I like this forum, interesting news from across America and abroad. Comment section is filled with many smart, funny people and the NYP tries to keep it clean too. Thank you for giving us a place to smile, share and care. Good job !
Great…before the recent “user improvement updates”
My favorite news app, until a recent update. They added pop up ads that can only be closed by clicking on the “x”, but in reality, that “x” is the link to a website or the AppStore. Even after being forced to open the link on the ad, you still aren’t able to get to the story or article. So you end up having to close and reopen the app several times in order to get to the actual article.
Update: They did appear to fix the issue with the most recent update
Censoring
I don’t understand why some of my comments can’t be posted, but others commenting on same story say much worse things and they get posted.
My go to for news
Let’s make this easy. Best app out there. Was a Fox News reader . Gave it up six months ago. NYP has better writers and cover more new, and I live in Texas .

If you want to get some local sports news or find out about Kanye’s pending divorce, the Post is fine. But if you want to r

Functional, but lacks numerous important features
The post always has very good info, but I often hesitate to go there, because of the problems with the app. I usually go via my smart phones web browser instead, even though it’s a hassle.
First, the inability to properly, maintain settings, such as text size, rotation of pages, and the insanely awful video playback problems, these all make the site very frustrating on the app.
It is really crucial that they repair the video engine, it is just unbearable on a smart phone.
