New York Subway MTA Map App Reviews

I was visiting NYC with my husband for Christmas and we couldn’t find a gift for me. I wanted something vintage and cool and the NYC Vintage App made it so easy, streamlining what categories to look for along with location services. Will definitely use whenever I’m in NYC and will download the LA app for when I’m there also.

Title says it all. I’ve used this app for years and it’s great but it doesn’t seem to reflect the recent swap I f the F and M train routes. I got on an M train at 9 pm on Tuesday thinking it would take me to 53rd and Lex and I ended up at 57th and 5th. To be fair Google maps is also messed up.

There’s some changes in the system like the M and F lines. Update is needed asap for accurate consultation.

It’s accurate, the look is okay, but when I need it most, ads pop up. I as soon as it’s gone two more pop up. Way more than earlier versions. No one will buy this app that’s a real New Yorker. Will tough it out until another free one happens.

I’ve had this app for years, and it’s been good. Now? Not so much. The ads aren’t a problem for me, it’s fact I have to close to whole app because the ads don’t show the little x to close it out.

I don’t want my identity and location sold. I will pay for your app. But this paid off doesn’t work for me and lots of people are waking up.

All the constant pop-up ads interfering with my search. This makes me look down on my phone longer than I have to making me me a target for petty crime. Grrr !

Has full screen temporarily unskippable ads pop up when you’re trying to quickly look at a map to decide what subways to hop on.

They want ppl paying while it’s useless on weekends when taking public transportation. Their response to not having the app update changes to subway delays or reroutes - “we don’t have anyone working on weekends” and the weekend is when MTA does most of their track work.
