I only have the free version, but the app has been a tremendous help!… until today. I updated my app only to find the piece limit has been shortened from 15 all the way down only 3. :( I understand the impetus for profit, but the paid version should be promoted based off its own additional features, not by making the free version worse. The app is really good, I love how easy it is to turn pages and make annotations. I just wish they didn’t force devs to shorten free user’s storage. In addition,

Easy to use and definitely feel better having everything backed up in the cloud and accessible at any time.

I like the app, but my Muzak app on my larger iPad won’t call up the setlists on my smaller iPad. Frustrating.

hi! i’m a trumpet player in highschool, and this year i’m our lead trumpet player… which means i’ll be going to Allstate this year! i downloaded this app to hopefully help me be able to listen to the sheet music, since i don’t have anyone to help me in person at the moment. when i try to use the AI feature to play the music that’s on the sheet, it says “transcript failed” even though the sheet music is as clear as day.. wondering if i could get some help with this.

I have been using this App for years and have had very few issues. I also have 4Score for my large databases of music. I copy songs over to Newzik for my gigs. Hopefully they will be able to add the “Facebook Index” feature sometime in the future.

Scanner is not the best could be better, but otherwise the app good

It would be nice to be able to rename the instruments and have that exported in the musicxml files.

The mobile app is pretty useless without a reliable way to manage files from the desktop. The web app is not a viable solution at all. This needs a native Mac app… Also, the inability to parse a music book PDF’s table of contents is a glaring omission.

I subscribe to Muzak for their OMR (Optical Music Recognition). It rarely makes a mistake. I’ve used more expensive stand-along programs for that and came away disappointed. So for me, the OMR is worth the admission price alone.

Loving using it so far, just a few things I’d like to see. -Setlists are great but I wish there was a way to make subcategories/lists. Kinda like a subfolder in my mind. -If there was a way to add link navigation, that would be amazing. Some of my scores have links that allow for quick navigation to certain page numbers if I was viewing them in another app/format. However, Newzik doesn’t allow for that.

I have thousands of songs in This App. I bought the first gen. Im on the Latest generation & I love it. I have Lyrics, chords, Tracks I recorded, charts pretty much everything in my pro working musical life. I have turned others on to it as well. It is all I need to pull up a song at a moment’s notice. I love this app and heartily Recomended it.

I’ll admit, there was a little doubt looking at the amount of reviews compared to others… but THIS IS IT GUYS! A free and accurate music scanner! No joke, I’m no liar.

Simple, intuitive, and I never had to refer to an help information, but the ‘Live Score’ feature needs work. It choked in several spots on my piano/vocal piece (with everything sounding as piano).

This company is absolutely amazing and will change the way you look at Sheet Music and technology

I just downloaded the Free Version of Newzik, and so far, I love it! I would like to get the free 7 day trial, but I might want to get the One-Time payment instead of the yearly subscription. It looks like the only option after the free trial is the yearly subscription. Can that be changed to the One-Time payment at the end of the trial period?

In general it s a stable app. But with the upgrade now one can no longer be logged in two machines at once. It’s annoying to always have to relogin. I use one machine for work and one for home. Why can’t we just stay logged in? Also would love to use two iPads together like ForScore allows for two pages at a time.
