Next Batter Up: Walk-Up Music App Reviews

I found that the app was very easy to use. I didn’t have any problems other than that the only music app that you can use is Apple Music. I currently only have Spotify premium and I didn’t want to pay for another music app. I used the free trial and got all the songs on there then when I canceled the free trial the app wiped the songs out. The app was great for the most part.

After a few failed attempts at other similar apps, I decided to take a chance on this one, best $5 I could’ve spent. Running the music and announcements for my daughter’s middle school softball team has impressed many others and I’ve recommended this app to all of them. The AI generated voice announcements are a game changer!

Support has been very helpful when needed and once you get the layout and how things work down, it’s pretty easy to set up. Integrates well with Apple Music just create a separate playlist and ensure to add the song to the playlist and you are good to go. My only complaint would be that it should be optional to include the jersey number when player creation.

App is easy to use during set up and in game. Support is also very responsive in helping out

I’m a grown human and I actually giggled with delight putting together my teams playlist and each song clip! It was pretty easy. Gone are my days of cumbersome Apple Music playlists and searching for the exact moment in the song that the kids want to walk up to the plate with, I miss every batter and the bash running queuing up the next song. Downloaded yesterday to set up some walk up songs and so impressed on how easy it is to set up! Love the option of the AI voice generator so I don’t have to use mine. Highly recommend!

This app gives a lot of flexibility for what you can do with walk up songs! I had a song that wouldn’t work from iTunes and customer service was very responsive and helpful to resolve the issue! Definitely recommend or your next baseball tourney!!

Awesome app , easy to use and customize for my teams preferences. Had a question and got a response quickly. I’d recommmend this app to any coaches trying to spice up their teams batting line up !!

Love this app for my son’s baseball team’s music! Super user friendly and the customer service was amazing. When Apple Music didn’t have one of the boys songs, they helped me with a workaround to get it to work! Now we have all happy players with their unique song of choice. 🙌🏼

The text to speech won’t load

The error I reported earlier was a bug and the in-app support functionality was incredible! The developer responded within minutes and was able to find the issue. I’ve never seen response time that fast. Impressive since I think this is just one person! I’d give this app 6 stars if I could. Not only is it great, but you can tell the developer is really passionate about making the best possible product—and given that I’ve tried the other similar apps—I think he’s succeeding! Fork over the $6

I love helping DJ the kids games, and this makes it so much easier! I can pull in their songs and have them cues up exactly where they want them. So nice being able to see the names and being able to reorder them for batting line up changes. And the option to have multiple playlists is great! And the app support is so wonderful! I had a question on how to do something and they literally answered me in less than a minute and were able to show me how to do something. Highly recommend!

The app is good but not if you don’t have Apple Music it wil not ad a play without a song FROM APPLE MUSIC

This app is so easy to use, the customer service/support is amazing! I've never had support respond so quickly! And they even pointed us in the direction of a professional announcer to announce our teammates names and numbers that worked great with the app!

Works great for our baseball teams. Only negative is that I can’t figure out how to fade the songs in and can’t find instruction anywhere.

setting up was easy, but functionality wasn’t there. It delays playing, often mixed up names. Plays over another player’s announcement. Disappointed for a paid app.

Playlist on app does not play as loudly now since update. It is very low compared to the announcements

The app keeps crashing every time I try to add a new player. It deletes everything and I have to add the player 2-3 times before it actually saves.
