Nextdoor: Neighborhood Network App Reviews

I love it! It works wonderful keeps me up to date with all the neighborhood happenings we have one right now where police helicopters and sheriffs car are at a Walmart with an incident it’s always good to know what’s happening and neighbors recommend the companies for jobs or events that are happening. Just found this app, it’s great and after just a few days I submitted posts on here than I do on FaceBook!

App freezes with aggravating frequency.

It is supposed to be meant to inform neighbors of what’s going on in the neighborhood, but it’s so many negative comments on here, but it is absolutely overwhelming. I found myself putting things on and immediately deleting them because of so many negative comments. You would not believe how many miserable people it is in the world, pray for them and keep moving

I find the website difficult to get around in. I have multiple items to post for sale and I would like to use this one and compare to Marketplace

Why does Nextdoor constantly free on iPhone 14 Plus pro. I can scroll for a minute then app locks up can’t do anything but restart. My phone is update along app updated regularly. Other than that it us a great app.

There isn’t an option to view my posts. I don’t like that

This is a useful app to communicate with your neighbors. The downfall is there are select people who are allowed to take down your posts if they don’t agree with what your saying. We should be allowed to have freedom of speech but you don’t on this app. The app also has a lot of drama on it and many scammers begging for handouts.

Love it! Seeing what my neighbors are dealing with, doing around the country is helpful and interesting! It also lends a sense of inner-connectivity! I really appreciate this app!

I’m in the Content Review group, and while most of the reviews work from an IT perspective, two of them are stuck and won’t go away. They say “Comment not removed. See why.” They’ve been stuck that way for 2 weeks no matter what I do. I can’t find any other way to get tech support than here.

I like the app for what it can do in a local setting. Yet I have two problems with it: 1) my “news feed” will often have old stories and posts right at the top. I have tried to change my settings to show thee latest first, so that I won’t see the posts that are a month or more old,but it always reverts to mixed order. 2) I keep seeing posts from other towns that I am not following. I cannot unfollow them because I haven’t followed them in the first place. Please fix these issues.

This app is a great way to communicate to your neighbors about anything going on in your neighborhood. Unfortunately you will also get a lot of whining, but you can’t control that as they stay within the guidelines. The one thing I would like to see changed is the feed preferences. I like to keep mine checked at showing the most recent, when you do that the setting expires after x days…. Why? That’s my preference! I have to keep going into settings and change it back. Please remove the expires

Wanted a 3’ wood fence for small pup with 2” spaced pickets . Just a small area in our backyard. Cody Ayers 678-378-5077 did exactly what we envisioned and came out great. Pressure treated wood which will be stained and water sealed in a couple months. Reasonable price, dependable, great workmanship, respectful. Installed posts and a few days later did all the woodworking and gate. Also does irrigation, outdoor lighting, decks etc.

Very informative of happenings in the area

This is a nice app with nice people using it.

With the last two updates, I’ve not been able to report content. It appears to work, but the content hasn’t actually been reported when I return to the app to check. The “You’ve already reported this content,” message isn’t showing up anymore.

UPDATE: I deleted the app and reinstalled it and that fixed the slow performance problem so I’m increasing the rating. Does Nextdoor just ignore reviews about the unacceptable iPhone performance or do they not care about iPhone users or do no Nextdoor employees use the iPhone app to experience the painfully frustrating performance? The latency when you try to like a post, edit a post, report a post, scroll through notifications, is unacceptable. You need to tap and swipe many many many many ti

Can you add a filter option so users can filter out stories in their feed that they aren’t interested in reading about ?

I’m not happy that you took away the neighborhood maps

Please do something to the app to stop draining phone batteries and causing them to thermal throttle.

I am hopeful the Business Ads I am running will result in at least 12 new contacts monthly.

How I can I view only St Johns Place postings? Or at least a 5 mile radius? I don’t want to see complaints about a neighborhood that 15 or 20 miles or more away from me. Or lost cats or other stupid posts. This is why I quit reading.

I absolutely love this app. But if your having issues with this app. There is no way you can get ahold of anyone for technical support. So this is why I’m writing this review.

Review writings ruin everything

It’s a valuable app for interacting with neighborhoods both near and far. If it becomes slow/unresponsive, uninstall and reinstall — problem solved.

I love this app! Be careful though, because it’s VERY addictive! I just wish it wouldn’t keep crashing on my phone. That’s very frustrating. I’ve talked with others with the same problem on there, so it’s not just me or my phone.

This is a great concept. However it could use some remodeling for the pages are a bit busy

Since the latest update, I no longer see comments under the posts. Please fix!

Nextdoor has been a wonderful way to connect with our community. It’s also helped get the word out about the importance of snakes and our environment.

This review was asked of me after my first interaction, comment, looking at a story, ETC. so I can’t really rates with true evidence or accuracy on the site.

I don’t want to things that are out of state. Don’t know how to fix this
