By clicking help it tells you what happens, The only problem is that you have to close the shortcuts and this app before scanning again. Even then, there’s a chance it just won’t scan.

App works great and allows me to use iPhone X to run shortcuts from nfc triggers as described.

I can’t get this to run unless app is open help me

We all already know that Apple choose to limit the NFC abilities of iphones 7 to X. So do not expect this app to fix those issues. But it does provide a working bridge, that is quite easy to implement. I was able to write AirPods to a tag, scan it, and have a shortcut repair my airpods to my phone. I stick the NFC on the airpods, and it works well enough.
