I have enjoyed NHK access on my iPhone, but can no longer AirPlay shows or Live access with version 9.0.0

Where did the program reminders go? It’s a shame the seem to have been removed.

I would love to listen to nightly news in Japanese. As it is I will probably only come and use it when major stories crop up.

I reside in Kaneohe, Hawaii and watch many NHK shows. My absolute favorite is My Street Piano. I love the people who play because they’re everyday people and they do bring joy to the world when they play. Thank you and Happy New Year to All!

One of the relaxing yet captivating broadcast. Their dedicated app makes it easy to watch so much of their content without ads. For me this channel is a quick daily visit to Japan. Wish features like video player quick skip back or forward by 5 or 10 seconds and mark videos for watch later are included.

Please NHK Add The Japanese Language to The App With Japanese Subtitles As An Additional Prefer

i love the ad-free programming streaming live 24/7. especially the railway and train videos. NHK also provides fair, balanced, and unbiased world news segments. one small gripe: there needs to be a way to dismiss the informational dialog that displays each time app starts. thank you NHK.

NHK made the decision to eliminate the ability to cast from my phone, a function I’ve used repeatedly while travelling. Please bring back Chromecast ability. This new app does NOT have “minor improvements” only a major drawback

With latest update, we don’t see option for screen cast, very bad.

Enjoy programs but since the last upgrade none of the programs can connect to Chromecast. I read discussions about it online but NHK does not seem to acknowledge that it is a bug. Please look into.

Ver 9.0 killed Chromecast support for some reason and I used the app to watch on my tv all the time. Otherwise, could use a dark mode too
