Nightcam: Night Mode Camera App Reviews

This is the first nighttime photography app. I’ve tried on my new iPhone 15. Unfortunately this phone doesn’t have an astrophotography function, like my old Google pixel. The default app only has one available setting, an auto nighttime function, which does a decent job of capturing the moon and planets. The pro version of this app looks excellent with an almost unlimited feature set, but the cost is more than I’m willing to pay. For now I’ll continue to explore the auto nighttime function. Gre

Got this for blood moon and lunar eclipse tomorrow. Got in some practice shots but will get the tripod out tomorrow. Works great!

The lense needs more power to capture the sky.

Everyone I do like this camera it really does a good job even on auto all night

While this is probably useful for older iPhones, the native long-exposure night photo on the iPhone 12 Pro Max does a much better job with significantly better image quality. I just tested it side by side on my 12 Pro Max using its native camera and this app and the difference is…well…night and day.

This works really good when you don’t move your phone while taking the photo

Camera seems a bit laggy, but other than that it ok.

You can say goodbye to all the noise in the night shots.

Tried to get pictures of the blood moon. Moon mode was too dark (couldnt see the moon for black screen) and other modes the moon was over exposed. Access to photo album is glitchy. When viewing a picture & then deleting, the app would sometimes delete the next picture in the album instead. I am deleting app.

Tried it on my 15 pro max, app is too too too laggy, nothing worked for me and it then freezes on me, and the original night image from iPhone works better? Even with pro subscription its darn too laggy! Any feature i try it lags come on!
