Nintendo Switch Online App Reviews

I was wondering could you make a way where you can invite friends to join you on the app. It would also be nice if you could add a chat feature. Like if we could text or friends or something and you could put a settings like”Chat with everyone, best friends only, or no one.” or something like that! Anyways that would be really nice and I feel like it would improve your app a lot! Bye!!

I only have one problem any online game I play on Nintendo Switch the app works with it fine but the problem is that I can’t seem to find a single person over voice chat because I guess no ones even using it any more. I hope more people will use this app because being able to talk to other people online is pretty much the hole selling point of this app.

I absolutely love the Nintendo Switch online app. I can easily be notified when my friends are online. I only use this for Animal Crossing New Horizons. Some of the things I wish were available is an option to delete old island (if you see your old island in change player settings) if you restarted to a new island and the option to type full sentences in the chat in Animal Crossing New Horizons. I hope there will be a delete player in change player section part of the settings in Animal Crossing

FIRST OF ALL WHY CAN I NOT USE VOICE CHAT NINTENDO

I recently downloaded this app and I really like it. I mostly use it for Animal Crossing and Splatoon 2, but occasionally watch Smash Bros replays. This is a great concept, but it would be better if it supported more than a few games for the voice chat feature. This would make the app a lot better. Just imagine booting up Pokemon Violet or Super Mario Wonder and talking to your friends through this app instead of over a phone call or FaceTime. I hope for the next console this app will get better

Its good that we can interact with our games through this, but for some reason my app is stuck on European time instead of American time. Yet no matter what I do to fix it or report it to Nintendo, they never fixed it. Please fix this asap.

Yo Nintendo I was scrolling on the App Store and saw a game called boop kids. In the game you make your own character. Some of the assets look oddly similar to the assets on the mii maker. Just thought y’all should now

I have so much gear on Splatoon three and it was awesome

I have every game it has but its only really useful for acnh and splatoon

Great app, yes there are some bugs but it works for what it is. Clearly y’all need to read the description of the app and look at the photos. It tells you (almost) exactly what it is. No, you cannot play switch games on your phone and you never will. That’s what the switch is for. I mainly use this app for Splatoon and voice chat. Works great. I even have the widgets of the current stages. Please read descriptions before leaving bad reviews.

so, i’ve been using this app for a while and it’s been working really well since i downloaded it. before i did, i had second thoughts about getting it, but i went ahead and got it. so far, no crashes, no glitches, and it delivers the stuff i get for Splatoon 2 & 3 on time. the problem is that i have to open then close the open the app sometimes to get it to work. i guess other than that, everything’s been going well so far. :)

I use it for splatoon + when I’m lazy to get up and send friend requests on switch and it works great for that! I havent had any issues so it’s pretty solid!

This app is WONDERFUL! I have had a Nintendo switch since 2020 and just recently thought you know I need Nintendo switch online so I got it and then I found out there is an app for it too! So I’m like ok let’s try it and so far it has been AWESOME!!!!! I have recommended it to many of my friends and they still have it till this day! I love this app and I hope y’all do some animal crossing widgets and some splatoon two widgets just like you did for splatoon 3

What I think they can do to the animal crossing section is that you can buy stuff through the app so I can just be sent into the mail to you another thing I think it will be cool is you can add a app to view your mail that’s in your mailbox

It would be nice to have some more things to do on this app I mean all you can do is look at 3 or 4 different games and thats it. It would also be nice if we could play games through the app (like Xbox) i’m just saying it would be nice to have these and the voice chat is a problem. I would like to be able to use voice chat under 13 to talk with some friends of mine but y'all set it to 13+ so it gets very annoying to where I have to use a game with built in voice chat. So if y'all could change so

I want Grizzco rounds to be saved instead of it only being available for Turf War.

It’s great for all lol but I don’t play splatoon 1,2, or 3.

For some context I got Splatoon 3 and so far I’ve loved it! But the Nintendo App isn’t very high quality, it hasn’t updated my story mode progress for ages!! I have no idea how to fix it… I really love the home screens. 😩

Okay Nintendo you have a lot of explaining to do, I tried to get octoling expansion for free (bc I have a family membership) but it saying that I have to own it please fix this so I can play octoling expansion so I can get ready for Splatoon 3. I really need this. If you can’t, you’ve just lost a very old Nintendo fan ( I’m 14 and I’ve been your fan since I was 1 year old don’t do this to me Nintendo).

If you have games that are supported, this is a cool app! My device’s hardware and OS is now too old to run this app anymore. But when it was able to, being able to see past Splatoon scores and order items from Splatnet, and use QR codes and chat features in ACNH was great.

I’m trying to update the compatible version, but it keeps saying “It requires iOS 14.0 or later, you can switch to the compatible version”, which is annoying because I’m trying to see what’s going on with my games or milestones of the games I have.

If you play splatoon 2 and want to see your stats, this is the perfect app for you.

Add more game support for all compatible games for voice chat, keep updating this to improve and work more in tune with the switch to work seamlessly all the time

I enjoy using this app, one thing i wish it had was for acnh which was updating prices (due to island ordinance) as well as an option that showed all the bugs, fish, and deep sea creatures and their costs. Also what time they appear would be nice too. Instead of having to look it up all the time

Logs me out every once in a will if I don’t use it for a bit but else then that, it great lol P.S. add more stuff else then splatoon, smash, and animal crossing

I can’t even log in and I keeps saying to go to home on my switch and then go to my profile but when I do that nothing happens idk what to do

I wish it had a messaging system on the app and switch that could be more easier for people despite not everyone uses social media for any safety purposes or anything.

They should add more things like museum and critterpedia, which box visited etc etc like in other ACNH companion guides

The only thing i reccomend is eshop access on the app. I want a game and i dont have my switch rn and im searching eshop and this is the top one but there is no eshop on the app.

The VC is okay but,having a way to send text messages to your friends could make for better experience

It’s a good app, but I can’t give it 5 stars. The app just won’t log in and I’ve tried multiple times before and it STILL didn’t work. The app definitely has some major bugs that need fixing. Respectfully, this app is broken. Please fix it.

This app is very good and I use this for Splatoon 3 but can we play our games on mobile instead of playing on Nintendo bc I was trying to find out how to play Splatoon 3 on mobile for 3 hours. So please can we play our Nintendo games on mobile bc I don’t wanna search for another 3 hours or maybe this time 2 hours.
